The zinc and other ingredients are safe for kids and that is really important in something going into their body. The gentle nighttime ingredients are great too.

Getting them to take medicine can be rough, but this one was much less of a battle. Soothed the little one's throat, but did not completely stop the coughing, but I haven't found anything that has yet.

I think it helps some but it's not magical to eliminate the cough which is particularly bad at night. My kid seems to accept the flavor of the cough syrup but needs encouragement for her to take it.
