[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This syrup is great, my daughter's cough has improved after a couple of doses. The only thing she doesn't like is the consistency of the syrup, it's kind of thick for a syrup. She likes the flavor and doesn't throw tantrums.

My daughter has no problem taking it (it's the only cough syrup she will take). It includes ingredients that can aid in falling asleep so it's perfect for those bedtime cough attacks.

Burt’s Bees is great tasting and effective. Manuka honey works wonders on controlling a cough, without the added medications you don’t want.

She is 6 years old and some medicines are just hard for her to take because of the taste but eventually i got her to take it and swallow . Medicine is not made to taste good for kids or adults but this the smell and taste are bad. Even I have a hard time sometimes taking medicine . I guess it's true what they say that nasty medicine works . She is always coming down with a cold or something and the changing of the weather and allergy season in full bloom so i was happy that this medicine contained all natural ingredients with honey and would also help boost her immune system so maybe she wouldn't get sick so often . She hated it but it worked very well. It's so hard these days to find a cough syrup for kids that will truly help quite their coughs so they can get a good night's sleep but this cough syrup truly does . Burts Bees cough medicine works so effectively .

I like that there's added benefits to support the immune system so we're also working on eliminating the cause. I do believe it helped aid in falling asleep faster, too.

Shortly after giving it to my kids, they coughed a lot less and seemedto sleep better. Unfortunately, I cannot get my kids to take it. The taste is bad and it is so thick that it is hard to get it all out of the measuring cup.

All of the drainage causes a persistent cough. It is especially bad when he lays down at night. It makes it difficult for all of us to get a good night's sleep. We tried this syrup, and after about half an hour he started to settle down. He also seemed to sleep pretty soundly with this night time variety. I really like that it is made with natural ingredients. I would give this cough syrup 5 stars. However, it tastes pretty bad. Because of that, it's a bit of a fight to convince my son to take it. When he does, it is very effective. I just wish it tasted better.

I also love that this particular over the counter medications provides relief while sleeping which is something I think a lot of moms would agree on. I love that my kids are able to sleep through the night while battling a cough. This cough syrup is effective long enough for everyone to get some rest during the night. My kids are not big on the flavor but it is not too bad that they refuse or fuss which is a bonus.
