My other daughter agreed it tasted like honey too but a little different flavor. This is because it is flavored with grape. I was worried with it being sort of thick that they wouldn't take it, but they had no difficulty taking it and didn't gag, which is huge for my kids. Neither of them minded the flavor. Both of my girls slept through the night and didn't complain the next morning about feeling sick.
