As a bread snob, I have to say that I’ve pretty much have tried a vast variety of sourdough. I have to say this is the real deal. Delicious taste, texture and size. You can definitely make a mean sourdough sandwich or grilled cheese. With that said, I definitely found the one. My family and I are hooked! We always buy multiple loafs because it’s hard to keep stocked at our house. Try it you won’t regret it!

with the wall of choices in the grocery store, there are only a few breads which are Bobby approved, meaning, clean ingredients, organic, no seed oils Etc. not only that but this bread is really delicious and it gets better when toasted. makes great garlic bread, egg salad open-faced and toasted, I use it open face because it is really thick and the proportion of bread to lunch meat, or tuna, egg, would be overwhelmingly too much bread. that being said It reminds me much of the old style Colombo from years past.

I was disappointed in this bread. It is nothing like San Francisco sourdough that I love. The texture is like a heavy white loaf of sandwich bread. I guess I was expecting this to be lighter in texture with nooks and crannies like baked hot bread has.

The last few times I’ve ordered this bread, it has gone bad and moldy very quickly. It’s $6 a loaf and doesn’t last more than a few days on the counter. I won’t be repurchasing.

I prefer to only buy organic sour dough for our bread and lately it’s been hard to find! This brand meets that need but its expensive. I’m willing to pay the price. How disappointing to open a brand new loaf only to find that it is moldy all the way through. I would give no stars since we can’t even use it.
