I got these for school. The colors are wonderful for different areas you want to highlight without a highlighter. The best part is if you lose one pen you have others. For some reason I though there would be 24 different colors. either way, I'm still extremely satisfied.

Overall I like this pen. The red wax tip is a nice plus to keep the pen from leaking out before purchase. It took me a minute to find it as the reason the pen was not working. After I removed the tiny red tip, the pen worked great. However, it did have a tendency to smear and smudge. It was easy to glide across the paper and was fairly dark enough to read. I would like to see the ink a bit darker and perhaps a bit thicker so as not to smear or smudge. I like the metal clip most of all because most pens these days are going to plastic. I'm always clipping my pens to my paper so that I don't lose them and the plastic clips always break and I end up throwing the pen away before the ink is used. Needless to say I don't buy the plastic clips anymore. I love the metal clips. I would recommend this pen to everyone.

(1) nice ink color assortment, (2) no skipping, dragging, smudging of the ink, glides effortlessly across the page, (3) price works out to be only 31 cents per pen. NOTE: To ensure the ink supply is fresh and not dried out, Paper Mate has added a small bead of wax to the tip of each pen. Remember to remove this bead before using the pen for the first time.

The inkjoy pens are advertised for their ability to write smoothly... what a joke! These pens are truly atrocious. First of all, from the time I opened the package to use them, the pink pen only works sporadically. Most of the time, no ink comes out at all, almost as if it was out of ink, which is it not because (a) it's brand new and (b) I can see that there is ink in there. As for the other colors, while they do write, it is definitely NOT smoothly. The ink jumps sometimes and other times the ink is thicker in some places and thinner in others. I'm quite disappointed.

These write very boldly for ballpoint pens and they glide across the paper nicely. The only thing I don't like about them is that the grip is fairly slippery and they are on the thin side so my hand gets sore faster than other pens I use. However, for the price, they are definitely great!

These pens exceeded my expectations by 100%! These pens glide smoothly on the paper and make writing or drawing fun! The colors are very bold and don't take any extra pressure to produce vibrant bold colors with ease. InkJoy is the perfect name for these pens. I found this pen nice to sketch with, it was both smooth and fast. It can feel a little slippery to someone who is very detailed oriented and wants polished lines and letters. But if your just looking to do quick signature and fast sketch its great. Because of this I think it may be likely that ink may bleed out or saturate your paper if the temp is warm enough. I am very happy with the colours as well as the fact that there are no dry pens. I just wish the case had been built stronger.. with some of the pens when you start to write ..they come apart very quickly.. they are not fixed together very well.. Disappointed

I am an elementary school teacher. I love to have things color-coded organized. I never √ anything with a red pen. Over the last several years I did get diagnosed w\fibromyalgia & it's a very bad case I get a lot of numbness tingling in my hands and fingers it's hard to open items. it's very hard to have to push hard with many objects to write. Thank God in the classrooms we have white boards & dry erase markers, often on assignments/ HW I √ w/ Mr. Sketch smelly markers & that fat onrs. . Being that its grades K - 3 often.... I'll be 40 in November and those smells remind me of my youth. But when having to write a letter to a parent slash guardian you use a pen blue or black and these have a nice of driver great you need to push very hard day right lovely you don't get free kids or white spots in between the letters with your writing in cursive or regular print. And when I do my plan books I color coordinate certain colors w/ subjects & levels so an example: Science I would have all green folders from file folders & green spiral & comp. notebooks & white labeling etc. done with green writing/labeling w_ green pen & marlers

I bought these pens for my daughter in grade 6 and now she has them all the way to grade 9 in full working condition and she uses them everyday and the ink is still there.
