We bought this pineapple 3 times in the past month and only the first time - when it was eaten within 2 days - did it not spoil before we finished it. I'm talking a matter of a couple of days, not weeks. So twice we paid $7 for a bowl of fruit and maybe got to consume $4 worth before it went bad even though it was within the expiration period. It's delicious and a good value if it's consumed immediately, like the day of or after your purchase. Otherwise watch out.

The pineapple is good, the price great, but the packaging is dangerous. I hope I remember to not get it again. It's almost impossible to open or to reseal -- it takes a long time and in the past I have been cut trying to do either. Bought it last weekend, struggled and managed to open and then reseal the first day, on the second, after a few minutes I opened it, and gave up trying to close it after I took out what I wanted that time, after about 5 minutes. I put it in another container and tossed that one. IF they put it in a usable container I may get it again, but I never want it again in that container.

I've purchased this twice in the past month. The first purchase was a gamble...I never know what I'm gonna get with cut fruit. The second time I purchased was because I LOVED it! Two great experiences with cut fruit! It's firm, not mushy; flavorful, not dull.

Very disappointed. Item was spoiled.
