My Husband is from Michigan and always talks about these chips. They are outrageously expensive to ship from the company so when I saw Sam’s club carried them it was like Christmas Day! My Hubby was so excited. These chips have a totally different taste from most BBQ chips. They are a little salty but delicious!

I bought these by mistake the 1st time thinking they were plain chips as the box does not state they are bbq chips. After getting them & trying them, I loved them! They are quite spicy which is why I like them. I came to the conclusion that the word "special" meant spicy barbeque! VERY good if you like spicy! I wish the Lansing, MI Sam's Club carried them in the store, tho as I had to order them and pay shipping!

Omg I used to eat these as a kid growing up in Detroit. When I saw that Sam’s club had them I had to let my husband and children try them too. They taste the same as a I remembered and put a smile on my face each time I have a bag. Nice portion size in one bag to not have to eat two bags at a time. They’re perfect.

I read many reviews on these chips, many stating that they were great and so surprised that Sam's Club was carrying them. It took a while to get them as every time I attempted to order them they would get removed during checkout; however, I finally received a box and my family and I love them. They have a great seasoning / spice, have a nice crispy crunch, and come in bags that actually seem "more full" than other chip bags we have had.

Best chips and the plus is they are made in Detroit.

Big Hit for Halloween…kids preferred bbq to plain. Fresh and not smashed or broken. Better value than bags of Halloween candy.
