Sam's products are always delicious and this sausage stands up to Sam's reputation. I'm glad I was invited to review it! I microwaved sausage bites for dinner, but it would be best grilled, I think. Sam's name on a product is my guarantee that the price is good and that the item will be what I expect. I would recommend this sausage to my family. I think it would be especially good to take to a camping trip for quick cookouts.

It sounded like a really good idea, bacon & cheese. I bought this because I couldn't get what I really wanted. But after getting over the price shock ($15.99 per pkg.), I was really disappointed after cooking at home. These links are really greasy & the casing is very hard to bite into. Probably the worst product I've ever bougĥt at Sams in over 20 yrs being a member. I don't recommend buying this product, you'll be wasting your money, as I did.

What a tasty sausage!! Because they are already pre-smoked, the cooking time was short enough that we enjoyed right away. We were 4 in our group and everyone said the sausages were great. Personally I think that they were a bit fatty to the fire. You cannot grill them at high temperatures. Something I would like to see is that like other sausages at Sam's, they should be packet in 2 different packages to prevent the unused sausages to get freezer burns as supposed when they are sealed. I think that for our group size during our Sunday BBQ, a pack of 6 would had been enough without having to open the second set of 6. We still had 3 sausages left from yesterday's cookout.

I bought this a week ago and we tried them on the grill by themselves and another night cooked them in a frying pan with potatoes and sweet peppers. Both ways were so good! I recommend these to anyone who is looking for a quick summertime lunch or dinner.

We really enjoyed the bacon cheddar sausage! It was very flavorful and so incredibly easy to cook. It would blend well with just about anything: polenta, pasta, potatoes, just veg, a stir-fry...it's incredibly versatile. The sausage is a little bit on the greasy side, so I'd advise cooking in a way that allows you to drain the grease off a bit. This greatly improved the flavor. That said, it was super simple to cook, whole or sliced, and we all enjoyed it very much. I love that it's a large package and already cooked!

These bacon cheddar smoked sausages burst with delicious flavor! We followed the instructions, pan-frying some and grilling others. While both methods yielded tasty results, our family leaned toward the grilled version. These sausages taste great on their own, but they also pair nicely with sauteed peppers, onions, and spicy brown mustard. We’re already planning to stock up for our upcoming Memorial Day barbecue!

I purchased the new Bacon Cheddar Smoked Sausage yesterday and had them for dinner last night. I followed the instructions for cooking on the stove. The step to add a little vegetable oil after heating the sausage to crisp the skin up was new to me but made for a perfect snap when you bit into the sausage. The sausage was nice and firm, and I could taste bacon and cheese in every bite. It would be nice if the packaging was resealable, as it's a package of 12. That's too many unless I'm having friends over for a cookout.

Fair or not, when you see big, juicy-looking sausages, your brain gives you a hint of what it thinks it will taste like. But when it doesn't stack up, you're a bit disappointed. With that said, this sausage had too much of a cheddar flavor for me and tasted too sweet. Hubby's okay with them, but I'm not sure we'll purchase again.

Bought for 4th of July cookout with friends. They do not split open all over the place while grilling or reheating. Best tasting bacon/cheese sausages. No fake cheese taste like other cheese dogs. I even ate the leftovers for lunch all week…amazing reheated in a microwave. Will definitely buy more.

Grilled these up at a family get together and everyone loved them. Juicy, flavorful, and the price is very inexpensive if you look at it on a per unit basis. They are less than a buck and a half each, and if they would add jalapenos to these they just might be perfect!
