The directions were incredibly clear and easy to read. It took about 35 minutes to put together. The only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. The light takes 3 AAA batteries which are included. There is also a spot to use a c port.

Assembly was easy, my 11-year old son took it upon himself to put it together under my supervision and he didn't need my help at all! It's light weight but sturdy. 3 little drawers are super useful to store any small toys. The mirror has a touch button to switch on and off the lights around it. The batteries go in the back of the vanity, no need to worry about dragging a power cable. The whole unit is about 3' high and 2' wide. It's compact enough to fit in a lot of space. And the little stool is just too cute. My niece will be out of her mind when she sees it.

I didn’t give 5 stars because some of the paint is peeling on the back already and the mirror is distorted. If these things don’t bother you, then it would definitely be a 5 stars product.
