It's a good bin for the price. I bought it to store dog food. It will hold 28lbs of kibble. While the lid snaps on tight, the secondary lid doesn't latch at all. This makes the pour spout unusable. I won't ever use the spout so it doesn't effect me. Check the lid out before buying.

It's a great idea and fill a definite need. Holds 40 lbs of pellets as advertised. Problem for me is the 2-door design. Trying to pour out a heavy load of pellets through the small spout ended with the larger flap-door flying open and me losing 10 lbs of pellets to all the nether regions of my smoker and the patio floor. It's still a good container, but I only hand-scoop the pellets out now. Can't trust it to do what it's designed to do.

This is a piece of crap! I bought this for storing pellets for my smoker. When you try to use the pour spout to pour in the pellets, this thing has a larger "hatch" that the spout is part of that when opened, dumps pellets like a dump truck. Instead of pouring in a reasonable amount of pellets, the Hatch opens up and dumps pellets all over the place. For pouring, this has absolutely no value. It's only value is just as pellet holder. I have not had a problem with it not being waterproof, but mine sits under my patio roof.

We have 2 horses and 3 dogs. It takes 6 of these to keep all the different food types. They are easy to get the food out of. It keeps the rodents away. We had ordered a set of them and one of the handles was broken. I emailed the company and they sent a new one out to us. Great customer service.

We keep the local songbird population well fed with multiple outdoor feeders. Rather than haul around clumsy bags of seed that are easily chewed up by squirrels and possums, we use the Buddeez container for porch-front storage. It's perfect for pouring into smaller feeders too - no more piles on the ground. We just bought two more!
