After about 2,000 miles on the new tires on my Cadillac XT4, I have to admit I am pretty impressed. Admittedly, the OE Continentals had over 33K miles on them, but these new Goodyear "ComfortDrive" tires are better riding, better steering, and better cornering. I did not expect so much all- around competence. Very pleased so far, but we'll see how they do this winter.

Size Tire is 255-19-40. Goodyear Comfort Ride. Got this tires in Sept. 2022. I have always had Michelin Tires for 20 years. I wont anymore. I have a "sport" suspension so it is a little stiffer ride, but I put on these Goodyear Comfort Ride tires and I really notice the difference in a nice smoother ride. I like them better for several reasons: 1) The ride is much nicer (not as stiff) and much quieter . 2)The Winter traction is MUCH BETTER and handles great. 3) The treadwear is 60,000 miles whereas the Michelin were 45,000 miles. My Michelin tires didnt even come close to the treadwear warranty. I had to replace them at 32,000....that has been an issue for Michelin over the past years if you read other comments about them and their tire warranty issues. 4) Rain traction is wonderful. Only negative : Handling on dry pavement on sharp turns is not as nice (but I am not a fast driver) and I get overall 2-3 less mpg on these tires. I will put them on my wife's car next.

This tire is decent. The major pro for this tire is that it is very quite. It has good traction and soft ride. However, it doesn't handle bumps very well. It's not a performance tire, so the handling and breaking is is what you can expect from a soft tire. Wet traction is OK but you certainly can tell a difference from the dry. My specific install was for 4 tires that weren't from the same date code, which in fact spans for 3 years. I would say that if you can get this tire with a good rebate, that is a great value for money.

These tires are the exact opposite of how they are advertised. My SUV went from having the quietest, smoothest ride of any vehicle I've ever owned to riding like a jalopy. Instantly I noticed the sound of the tires in the parking lot. So loud! Then the tires emphasized every little bump, literally bouncing me around in my seat.

You know the old saying "you only get what you pay for" Well I always tried to get the highest milage expectation for the lowest price. Every time I would end up being dissatisfied with the road noise or stiff ride. This time I decided to focus on ride comfort and quiet road noise. I selected Goodyear's "ComfortDrive". I couldn't be happier to this point, as advertised performance! The ride seems to be better now than at any time that I've owned this Maxima in the past 9 years. These tires are very smooth and quiet on dry pavement and really earn the "ComfortDrive" name as they are whisper quiet. They also provide excellent traction and confidence on wet pavement. I'm retired, so I mainly avoid driving in the snow. But I have driven them in light snow, and they felt reasonably secure with good traction. I've had them around 8 months and put only 5,000 miles on them, so I really can't comment on the tread life. IN SUMMARY: they're great for dry roads, great for wet roads, and OK for snow-covered roads, so they fit my driving very well. I love them!

I replaced my absolutely horrible Firestone tires with these Goodyear tires and I'm much happier with how much better the ride is. The original Firestone tires only had 18k on them, but I couldn't stand the jarrinng ride any longer. Traction is much better too with these Goodyear tires; no more spinouts with rapid acceleration from a dead stop.

These tires have excellent grip, are very quiet, and kill road feel. There's no driver feedback, and it just deadens everything, isolating the car from the road 100%. Handling is mildly vague. They certainly take all the fun out of driving, so if you like a playful or sporty handling car, this is not your tire. But if you prize a quiet, sedate, soft ride with excellent traction and don't care about sportiness or feeling the road, this is about as good as it gets.

Review is based on 3 weeks of driving in Toyota Highlander AWD Hybrid. Good handling and traction on dry and wet roads (no snow roads yet). Low road noise. My only concern after 700 miles is the reduction in MPG. Went from 36 MPG to 33.7MPG. Also, the PSI in these tires during the first week varied a lot with 20-degree temperature swings. Seems to have leveled out now but will keep an eye on it.

These GY ComfortDrives replaced the OEM "M's"on my '17 Cadillac XT5, last year, and now have 7,000 miles. The originals were very good tires, but these GY's outperform them in ride comfort, secure handling, and traction. Also, the tires balanced out perfectly. Most favorable is the outstanding interstate highway touring. Highly recommend and will instal these on my other car when needed.
