My biggest thing is the scent, I absolutely love the scent on my husband that I used the sample a few times myself and have purchased in place of my husbands previous go to deodorant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing a free sample of Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel anti-perspirant from Pinchme. I usually buy clinical strength deodorants because ordinary products do not stand up to my warm, humid climate. To my surprise, the Cool Wave performed very well in preventing wetness and protecting my clothing from unpleasant stains. I stayed dry all day even outdoors. The higher than average percentage of aluminum zirconium is the product's best feature. The gel smelled fresh and dried quickly causing no skin irritations. No drawbacks to this deodorant.

He said it smelled really nice and kept him odor free for a reasonable time. He liked that it was clear gel. One thing he didn't like was that it felt kind of wet and he had to wait a little before he dressed.

Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel dries instantly. It has a pleasant scent that is not overwhelming but still lasts. The protection is long lasting. I hated using gel deodorant in the past, but now I enjoy it!

The scent is clean and fresh. The gel formula is cooling and doesn't feel wet under the arms. I wore this while it was a hot week here in Massachusetts and I stayed smelling clean all day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the Gillette Clinical Clear Gel - Cool Wave as soon as I received it. The product itself works quite well as an antiperspirant and deodorant, however, there were several things I disliked about the product. First, the fragrance. It was a bit feminine smelling for my tastes, as well as being quite strong. I don't mind my deodorant having a fragrance, I'd just prefer that it be more masculine and more toned down. Second, the consistency. The gel made my armpits feel very wet after using and for quite a long time afterwards. Again, this may be more of a personal preference thing, but I don't know anyone that is ok with their armpits feeling wet, especially after using a product that is supposed to help with that. As I said, the product worked well otherwise, though I didn't get the benefit of being a full day's protection if you put it on at night as instructed. It worked much better if I used it in the morning.
