A Gamer's Dream Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a tech-savvy student of computer game development, I'm constantly on the lookout for immersive experiences. My quest for the perfect home entertainment system led me to the 65-inch LG OLED evo C4 4K Smart TV, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Here's a breakdown of what makes this TV a winner: The OLED technology truly shines here. Blacks are deeper than a moonless night, while colors explode with vibrancy. Details are razor-sharp, whether you're scrutinizing the intricate stitching on a character's costume or spotting a hidden easter egg in your favorite game. This level of detail makes every scene feel incredibly lifelike. For gamers like myself, the C4 is a dream come true. The 4K resolution paired with the 144Hz refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth gameplay without a hint of lag. Fast-paced action sequences feel incredibly responsive, giving you a competitive edge. Plus, features like Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync eliminate screen tearing, making your gaming experience even smoother. While the C4 excels at gaming, it's not a one-trick pony. Movie nights take on a whole new level with the C4's stunning visuals. Dolby Vision support ensures movies are displayed with the director's intended colors and contrast, creating a truly cinematic experience at home. Even regular TV shows benefit from the C4's picture quality, making them feel more immersive and engaging. The Verdict: An Investment Worth Making The LG OLED evo C4 4K Smart TV isn't the cheapest option on the market. But for those who crave the absolute best in picture quality, immersive experiences, and cutting-edge gaming features, it's an investment worth making. It takes home entertainment to a whole new level, transforming your living room into a portal to stunning visuals and unforgettable experiences.

LG 65C4 - One of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been very impressed with the LG OLED65C4. The WebOS interface is quick and quite easy to navigate, though the pointer function did take a bit of time to get used to. 4K picture quality is outstanding, the deep colours and shades of black highlight the quality of the LG panel. I was also impressed with the sound quality, loud and deep for such a thin TV. Terrestrial TV also looks good with deep colours and also very good definition.  The remote control is simple and a good size to hold in the hand. It has easy to access dedicated buttons for a number of popular streaming services. The LG comes with AirPlay and Chromecast functionality already built in, very useful for sharing content from the different smartphones. Multi view is also a nice feature when you want to watch two independent sources on one large screen Console gaming is handled extremely well on this LG, the vibrancy of colours make the visuals look more solid, enhancing the gaming experience.

Fantastic TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not gonna lie, my husband looks after the tech in our house but even I can appreciate the quality of this TV. Both the picture and sound quality are great, we do use a soundbar but even the TV speakers don’t sound terrible. The picture though is awesome, it’s so bright and clear. Even on sunny days you don’t lose the ability to clearly see the picture without closing all the blinds/curtains. I also find the navigation really easy to use which is good cos it means I’m not constantly asking my husband how I do something like open Netflix!

Disappointed with LG C4

The LG C4 OLED promised top-tier performance, but sadly, my unit failed shortly after it was set up. I was excited to experience the renowned OLED quality, but the TV has been unusable since day two. It’s very disheartening when a premium product doesn’t live up to basic expectations. I hope LG takes product quality more seriously moving forward.

First time OLED TV buyer! Mind blown!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took delivery of our new LG C4 last week and wasted no time in getting everything unpacked and set up. I was pleasantly surprised at light the tv was how easy it was to unpack and set up with just two of us! Once the TV was powered up the guide was super helpful in getting it set up optimally for our needs. Having only used LCD TVs in the past we were instantly blown away with how black the blacks actually were on this, the amount of contrast between the light and dark parts of a scene was like nothing we had experienced before and this was before we tried any HDR content! HDR really is a game changer, we re-watched an episode of Fallout so we could compare and the extra detail in the highlights and the additional contrast in the darker areas was just night and day. I don't think I will ever be able to go back now! The LG C4 is also amazing as a gaming monitor as well which really surprised me. I hooked up my gaming PC a loaded up Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon Forbidden West. The details and quality was amazing. I will certainly be using the tv for more story driven and imersive games going forward! I can't believe we have been depriving ourself of what the LG OLED range offer for so long! Anyone who is on the fence certainly has to take the leap, it is worth every penny!

Best OLED TV’s on the market

This is our second LG OLED television and it’s even better than the previous one. LG has the clearest display of any of the current OLED TV’s. The clarity, the brilliant colors, even when viewed from an angle, makes the LG OLED TV’s the best on the market.

Fantastic sound and awesome viewing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I ordered this C Series I was sceptical if I should I buy another LG OLED tv, as how could they improve such a nice tv. However I did go ahead and buy this LG OLED C4 series and when it did arrive I wasn’t really impressed with the look of the packaging as it didn’t give me much excitement to look at a plain box, it could have been more colourful and printed but I guess to save the environment it came without any colours. After setting up the TV, I realised that the sound quality has improved so much, by this I mean the depth of sound and at low volume it just sounded so loud. Also the picture quality is very impressive too, it just looks crystal clear and there are different presets available for different viewings. The brightness is very good and impressive along with the HDR setting which sets it alight from other tv’s that I’ve used. The viewing angles from the sides is just as impressive as looking from the front as the colours don’t fade. The good thing about this tv is that it has 4 hdmi ports which are all 144 hertz and are good for gamers along with the dashboard that can be used while playing so I could change the settings to suit the game I am playing. The remote for this tv is similar to the previous model I had and it looks too plastic and cheap but it does have good functions as the pointer is helpful when I want to select things and it also has a scrawler along with one touch buttons to some regular apps that I use to watch films. This tv also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and that makes a lot of difference when watching certain programs and playing games. However there are a few things that I’m not really impressed with that they could have changed from the previous model I had and that was the power cable which is set permanent and can’t be made long so it could be short from your socket and also the ports are all on one side of the tv as before they were split on the back and some on the left side to connect your devices. The rear design of the tv doesn’t feel premium as it has a cement type effect which is very rough and not smooth to touch at all. The remote could have been changed to make it feel more premium such as adding metal or titanium as it feels too plastic and cheap. Since using this tv there are too many updates and it just feels annoying to wait while the tv is updating but at least it feels like the updates will make the experience better so it’s worthwhile doing these frequently. Fantastic tv overall.

Stunning TV

I am happy with my purchase! When the TV arrived, the LG team installed our TV onto the mount, which is a very convenient service. Setting up the TV was easy, LG take you through step by step on the screen. The functions of the TV is super. It has smart TV options and Alexa search which is very handy. The TV's screen pixel and colour is stunning. The picture quality enhances your experience. Its picture is bright, crisp and clear. The sound is average, but this is forgiven with the picture performance. The TV itself it thin and sits nicely against the wall. Its appearance is very elegant. We have placed this near a window in our house and the anti reflection is good. It also doesn’t seem to matter where you watch from in the room as the picture remains the same at all angles. There are 4 HDMI ports which is always handy. Overall this is a splendid TV produced by a reputable manufacturer.

Best c series yet

I was going for the G4 but being using the c series for years decided to go for the C4 upgrading from the C2 first it was not clear which screws you need to assemble the stand and which you use to attach the stand to the tv picture quality is very good but still a bit to dim in streaming HDR content it's still annoying lg do not put the mla into the c series

Another knockout OLED TV from LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long term owner of LG OLED TV's (C7, C1, G2 and now this C4), I can confidently say that LG have done it again. The only real issue with these OLED TV's is that they make any other TV look broken in comparison! The killer feature is the absolute black levels and picture quality, but LG also knock it out of the park in terms of features and interface. Four full speed 2.1 HDMI inputs, all the wireless inputs you would want. The best App availability and HDR picture compatibility of any manufacturer. The promise of long term OS updates is a feature that could easily be overlooked, but is going to give the G4 excellent longevity. Any negatives? Adverts should not be turned on by default on the home screen - but all brands pull tricks like that. It's approaching 10 years of the same remote design and it's not the most premium looking thing given that it is for a top tier TV.
