I bought this product thinking that they would be better quality for the school year for both of my girls. They told me that while coloring some colors rolled down, I tried them myself it was true. Also the lead breaks very easily and they really aren't colored pencils they're more like fine crayons. In apperance they're very nice, but they would be better if they had refills and the lead didn't roll down. I'm disappointed, this product could be better.

My daughter got this as a gift and frankly, I hate them. The leads break, the colors are not bright and the amount of waste that these things produce is outrageous. Crayola says proudly how they are Eco by recycling and making their products in a "more environmentally responsible way". But this product is the complete opposite. Once the lead breaks or is used up to its 90%, the whole container is waste!

I am really, really surprised by the negative reviews. I LOVE these. I love that they color more like a crayon than a pencil, I have NEVER had issues with the lead breaking and they last forever, so "waste" isn't even an issue. I also have never had any problems with the lead not holding. Love the twistable, love the colors, love that you don't have to sharpen them and I find them PERFECT for adult coloring. No issues with small spaces. If your spaces are that small, then I suggest you use actual pencils that you sharpen. I have two sets of them and use them a lot. I would like to see like a set of 64 different colors.

Almost perfect except they don't have their colors written on them. It irritated me enough that I labled them myself, and I constantly wonder if I got the colors right. I also wish that they were refillable. Plastic vs Wood plastic can be the more sustainable choice but only IF refills are made. I do understand from a business standpoint that certain colors wouldn’t sell as well as others, but I also believe a company as competent as Crayola would be able to figure out which colors are colored with the most and sell those in refill packs. My "leads" have never broke, I assume dry air might cause that. Even my 5 yo uses them I just keep the lead very short.

I bought these for my five year old for a long trip and they are better than I anticipated. You can't press down hard but we have that problem with regular pencils anyway. We just had to learn not to wind them up too high. The colors a extremely vibrant and draw on all kinds of paper. The twisting end is easy for a younger kid to do and the lead is thin enough for the kinds of drawings and colouring that little kids do. These pencils have been used daily and heavily and they don't seem even close to wearing out. Great buy, great shipping and would definitely recommend.

The Twistable Colored Pencils are my absolute favorite and I adore them but can you PLEASE print the shade names on the tubes?! Some colors are only a shade in difference and super hard to tell apart. In all honestly, if y'all can afford to print all the fancy swirls, Crayola symbol and the word Twistables, y'all can print color names too.

I thought these would be a nice way to get into small spaces. The core of the pencil is to large to get into smalls spaces. The color is not on the pencil, and the color of the pencil DOES NOT match the inside color. I made a color patch page, but I had to scribble on a spare page to try to figure out which color it was. You need to apply a heavy pressure to get solid color. The texture does not glide easily. For Kids maybe, but the tips are flat, and without the ability to sharpen them, they are not good for even minor detail.

I use these all the time for art projects and doodling. I have one of those adult coloring books that these are really beautiful and bright in. They do last a long time as long as someone doesn't twist the end out too far and brake the tip off. I am on my 4th box of these, not from breaking them, but because I use them so much.

We have the crayons also, and were excited to try these. Both are nice, although you want to be careful not to drop them on a hard surface, as that may break the lead. The colors are listed on the package, but not on the pencils themselves. They do color nicely, and are a good price for the amount of colors. Last a long time with no sharpening.

I'm a homeschooling Mom of 4 children. The Crayola Twistables Colored Pencils are a great product. They come on handy for many of our projects. I like that the pencils are bright and vibrant, that is not always the case with certain colored pencils. The twisting mechanism is perfect because you don't have to worry about the tips breaking off while storing them. The Crayola Twistables Colored Pencils are a perfect addition to our craft supplies. I will be purchasing again when we run out. I do reccomend the Crayola Twistables Colored Pencils for journaling/ Bible journaling as well. The colors do not show through the underside of the paper, even on very thin bible paper. All around great product I do reccomend them for children as well as adults!
