Great AGM battery for the price. Eady install.

My wife picked up one of these for my truck while she was shopping. The date code on the battery is almost a year old. No way it should have been sold at full price. An average car battery lasts 5 years, so basically, you're paying for time on battery. When it's a year old off the shelf, that devalues the battery 20% right there, not to mention the hassle of having to get another one that much sooner, and the degradation that happens with lead/acid batteries that sit without a charge that long. I've never seen a car battery that old sitting on a shelf anywhere. Battery seems fine, but it's obviously Sam's Club that can no longer be trusted to provide fresh merchandise anymore, if they even have the things in stock that you're looking for anymore. Sam's customer service has gotten to be abysmal. Probably recommend the battery if fresh, but can no longer recommend Sam's Club for much of anything, and I used to be a great fan and very long time member.
