It was very easy to install the doorbell and the app. The camera on the doorbell has great clarity, and lets me see most of my front yard. The motion sensor is quite sensitive, but you can set it to your liking. You can also see the images very well in the dark. This Nest doorbell give me a good sense of security. I like the fact that you can answer through your phone,and you don't have to go to the door every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know what to think at first about the Nest doorbell but I am incredibly glad I have it now! The install was really much easier than I anticipated. My doorbell had just two wires and after turning off the breaker and installing the two wires to the new nest doorbell it was just that easy. Turns out you dont even need to know which wire goes where. It only uses two wires. Simple. The app is straightforward and notifications are easy to program. Camera is very clear. Excellent doorbell! I can't wait to add other Nest items to my home!

It is very helpful for us to know when certain items are being delivered and who has been at our house. You do have to have the google home app and account in order to use it. It is very easy to set up if you don't have that. I would definitely recommend this product.

With me and my moms sleeping upstairs this is so perfect for us we can see whos on the porch. We are going to go get one from the back door.

I'm OK with basic do it yourself projects so this fit in that category… not too complicated. It works well with crisp video that has been reliable so far and gives a sense of added security. Would definitely recommend. And looks good too.

Replacing our static doorbell was super easy and the setup through Google Home was a piece of cake we even have other products in our house that work with the app we weren't even aware of. A super fun surprise! The camera quality is great and Overall we are very very happy with this product.

I'm not going to discuss the overall camera aspect because this is just regarding the battery but the picture view is good it's not crystal clear but it's good. The battery is rated to last 1.5 to 6 months depending on the frequency of usage eg. average number of daily events it records and other battery saver settings like video/audio quality and minimum event recording length. When the battery power is low, it will enter into a "low power" mode to conserve more battery until you charge the unit; to charge it, you'll need to take down the unit and plug it in via the included USB-C cable for ~5 hours

Unfortunately the plug is on the back so when charging it lays on the from. The lease sticks out just enough that if it moved across the surface it scratches it. Google just offers for you to buy another doorbell. :( So be mindful when charging ti lay it on it's side.
