Around my birds food is where I see the most ants, so it appears that it does kills the ants without harming my birds so far. Roches as will specially because they always go around my front door so this product works great for that, and it keeps them out. I do have to mention that it does feel oily and it might leave that residue on tables or patio. Just be careful with that, but it does remove.

I also sprayed it around my doorways and under my sink. It seems to be effective as I am seeing no activity on the large ant hill I sprayed it on. What I don't love about the product is how oily it is. I am very particular about my cement and it seems to have left a stain/oil spot where it was sprayed. I will continue to use the product in my home and around my yard, just not on my cement.
