Applegate as a whole is an expensive brand but they have a good selection of Gluten free so we look to them here and there. Uncured products are important to our family because we don't want a bunch of processed chemicals in our families diet. You should get more for the pound based on this price but you shave off a little buying it here in bulk. But you don' save much. So if you don't eat a lot of bacon you don't benefit from this but I am able to use a package and chop it up into small chunks to make it last a little longer for my family of seven.

I wanted to love this bacon. I always buy uncured bacon. This bacon had way too much fat and shrunk down to teeny pieces and seemed extremely salty. I usually buy most of my groceries at Sam’s Club because of the excellent quality and price. This doesn’t make the cut.

I didn't like the taste

We like the clean ingredients of this bacon and the flavor is really good. Our only complaint is the small sizes of the packages.

The best bacon! I just tried to purchase it and there was none at my Sams. Hope this is not another good product that is being taken off the inventory, like many other items that I like.
