We try generic on alot but not cheese or mayo. This is the absolute best place to get them and have been getting them here for 15 years.

Melts as expected. But hardly has any flavor. Going back to the Kroger store brand -- that does have taste and melts just as well

Great product. I buy 5 boxes at a time and put them ib the frig. (not in freezer) They last along time and save me a ton of money. My hubby is a cheese hound.

I always have Kraft Singles American Cheese Slices 16 Oz Pre Priced 24 Slices in the fridge. It wrapped individual so you can just used for the amount you need. My kids sometimes ate as snacks. It’s good for sandwiches and burgers. It’s soft and doesn’t have a strong cheese smell. I’ll keep buying them.
