I ordered this pencil sharpener again after owning the same one before, that lasted for more than 2 and a half years. It probably would've lasted even longer, but my 3 kids are obsessed with over-using it and drop it a zillion times while playing with it. We pick it up, put it back together and it keeps on sharpening! It always sounds like it's dying, but ALWAYS sharpens pencils beautifully! Considering how much money I've wasted on those hand held sharpeners that never work, this is well worth the money! I highly recommend this electric pencil sharpener and I obviously would buy again-because I did.

This is a basic pencil sharpener and it does the job very well. It certainly beats the one with suction cups on the bottom which I could never get to stick to anything. I didn't need anything elaborate, just something to sharpen my many pencils. This is great.

I liked the way this compact version looked and the reviews were great so I purchased two. I am disappointed cause when I insert a pencil it will not consistently sharpen, it will stop and stall and I must play with this touchy device until I finally am satisfied with the point , the 2nd sharpener was the same way. Can not recommend this sharpener.

Transitioned from hand held sharpeners to this electric sharpener. No more pencils breaking, yay! With three kids needing pencils sharpened, the hand-held was garbage. This was a good buy. I sharpened fifty pencils to test this out the first day I got it. I have used it a few more times. I hope it stays a good product.

Sharpened one pencil, it worked well for that one. Went to sharpen another one and wont work! Tried cleaning out, tried different pencils, tried everything. Spins like its trying to sharpen, but lose or something! My daughter who bought this for herself with a gift card is very disappointed as it originally said it would be here Tuesday then did not get here until Thursday and now doesn’t work.
