Using it for my 23 year old truck and it starts great with this new battery. The price was the best I could find, too.

I have Purchase numerous Duracell batteries. They are long lasting and a good value for the money.

Easy to purchase

My Duracell from Sam's Club has been cranking my 4.3L V6 S10 through super cold Michigan winters and summer heat for 7 years now, and still going! They are made for Duracell by the East Penn company, who also makes Deka batteries. Most of the rest of the batteries out there are made by Clarios which bought out the battery production unit from Johnson Controls. I may just go ahead and get another one before next winter, just to be safe, and I'll definitely go with the Duracell from Sam's Club again!

These are quality batteries built and sold in the USA I was in the battery business for over 20 years in distribution of multiple brands these are far the best made by East Penn manufacturing. There are too many variables in electronics and batteries for someone to give a bad review on a battery. Especially when they are usually not an engineer.

64 months of service means it started my vehicle at least 8000 times (@ 4 per day); I'd say that's pretty good. To max the life of any wet type car battery, you've got to aim for 100% charged at all times. Not being 100% charged aids/speeds sulfation which kills the battery. If my vehicle is going to sit for more than 24rs, I connect a battery maintainer. And, no matter what, at least least once a week I connect the maintainer when I'm done for the day. That's the secret folks. The battery in my vehicle before this one, a DieHard Gold from 2005, lasted 10 years and it too was on a maintainer. Buy a good quality maintainer, use it, and you'll get the longest life possible from the battery.

I'm giving it four stars only because I haven't had it all that long yet. I bought one in May of 2015 and as of March 2017 I haven't had a problem. I also found one was in a used car I bought and it's from 2013 and still works so I don't understand the one star reviews. I'm right now thinking of buying another for one of my other cars.

Purchased my first battery on about 3/20, 11/20 had to be replaced because it had dead cells. 12/20. Already needs replaced again. Puts my granddaughter at risk if she can't count on her car to start. Hope this is the last time. Will try to get Sam's to replace with another brand. We will see how that goes

Clearly, this battery isn't made by Duracell, but is licensing the name in order to disguise what is actually a very poor battery. I've had this less than two years, and during the onset of winter 2016/2017 this thing has been struggling to crank a V6, and it's actually larger CCA than the OEM battery. But I see that others have also had trouble with this battery. I'd suggest to Sam's that they find another supplier for this, as I'm going to take it back today and get something else - not from Sam's if it is this brand again.

I always thought that Duracell would be a great battery. but I had bought my first one 2 years ago and after 12 months it was dead and not taking a charge. Replaced it under the 3 yrs war. and now 1 year later the replacement is no good now also. I have 2 other family members also bought the same battery size and type and they also same problem battery only lasting for 12-15 months then needs replacement. sad to say think it is time to get refund for lack of satisfaction and buy different brand batteries
