The worst product. Caused my daughter's 3 b curls to be dry and brittle and break off. Too fragranced. I tried pairing this with straight coconut oil, olive oil, but nothing helped it to hydrate her hair. Dried frizzy with no definition.

I have been using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie for over 5 months now and I must say it has done wonders for my hair. I don’t know what it was like before as I’ve read some comments but I love it. I’ve tried other products for my 4C hair type and this product has come thru for me. It moisturizes and softens my hair. Everyone with the 4C type hair knows how long it takes our hair to hold moisture and softens after shampooing; this product does all of this for my hair in about two days and I love it. I do twist outs for my hair and this product does what I expect it to do. I’m speaking from my personal experience and I give this product a big 4 or 5 star.

This product is amazing!! It smells kinda fruity but after a while of just smelling it, it smells like something else but, not in a bad way!! I have REAL 4c hair this product defines my coils and makes my hair softer. Also, with having 4c hair, this little container will run out quickly so beware but other then that, definitely recommend.

I love this product! I bought it a while back and it did wonders to my curls! It helped me become more confident in my hair and the curl pattern. The only bad thing I can think of is it came out white on my hair and it took a minute to blend in with my hair. Other than that, I totally recommend it!

I have the strangest hair of anybody I've ever met. My scalp gets oily after a few days of not washing and about half an inch away down the hair shaft, then the rest of it has been super dry. It was so bad I had to brush carefully or it would snap. My hair is somewhat naturally curly meaning some of it is really curly, while some is just wavy. I tried everything! I must have went through a dozen brands of shampoo & conditioner for curly, dry, frizzy hair as well as other styling products, leave ins, hair masks, hot oil treatments...pretty much everything you can think of even other organics and sample sizes of salon products. Nothing really worked. Some things seemed to help, but as soon as I brushed it...FRIZZY! I had a friend suggest Shea Moisture; she told me it was all natural, no harsh chemicals. I was skeptical and asked "Isn't that really intended for ethnic hair? Wouldn't it be too heavy for mine?" She snorted and said "Honey your hair is as bad as mine used to be! Yours just breaks off and stands up and waves around instead of kinking like mine. It won't hurt to at least try it." She had me there. So I bought it. WOW! I have to warn you, a little goes a long way. My hair is soft and smooth now. No more frizzy, no more breaking, no more dryness, no more twisting it up in a hair clip so it doesn't stand on end. It's wonderful! I highly recommend it!

Holy cow, this is amazing. You want to enhance your curls? Buy this stuff. It's lightweight, not heavy or greasy or sticky. The consistency is almost fluffy. Your hair will drink it right up, and if you blow dry with a diffuser, you will have soft, bouncy curls all over the place. Oh, and there's a lovely, fruity beachy scent, too. The Shea Moisture line is often displayed in the black hair care section in stores. If you’re not black, don’t be thinking these products aren’t for your hair. I'm as caucasian as they come, and some of my best hair care finds have been products marketed to black women. This little jar is stuffed full of botanical oils and butters that are good for anyone’s hair, and it’s a great value, too.

Pros: Best results from the numerous products I have tried Easy to work it in and dry with a diffuser adding ring curles and volume. Great price Second day hair just wet and re-scrunch and diffuse Cons: Not crazy about the smell (it's not terrible I think I get tied of smelling it all day) I think it builds up on my scalp so I have to wash my head every more often. I have been buying this product for years at beauty supply stores and definitely get my best results with a diffuser as opposed to letting my hair air dry.

This works great to keep my wavy, curly hair from being frizzy.
