I am a big Michelin tire fan I think they are great tires until I bought these tires they were great for the first 3,000 miles but then it started the ROAD NOISE ! it drives me crazy. I bought them for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland it was the worst thing that I could have done. They hold the road great in all types of weather but the noise drives me crazy.

I took delivery of a new 2004 Chev Tahoe 4WD. Before I picked it up I paid the difference to upgrade to a set of Michelin LTX's. This is not my first time on this model of tire and auto. 89,000 miles later I went back for a new set. The ride even as they get some miles on them is great. They always rebalance beautifully. I'll go for Michelins for my ZO6 Corvette when I wear out the original tires it came with.

I have owned a 2005 Jeep Wrangler for the past five years, and I spent the first three years of that ownership living with what has been described in many online articles as the "Death Warble." The Death Warble would occur at almost anytime when the vehicle was making a slight turn and then encountered a sharp bump in the road, when traveling between 55 to 65 MPH. The front end of the vehicle would begin to shake violently, and begin loosing control. The only way to stop the shaking was to instantly slow the vehicle to 40 MPH, or flatten the accelerator to the floor. Neither option was popular with fellow drivers or the law enforcement community. So I repeatedly took the vehicle which had only 21,000 miles at the first occurrence back to the dealer, who suggested an extended warrantee, since I had purchased the vehicle used. I had the tires rotated, balanced, and the car aligned, all to no avail. I simply lived with the problem for another two years, until I just couldn't stand it any longer. Finally, at around 60,000 miles I decided it was time for new tires. I purchased four new Michelin LTX-MS tires after hours of online research for tires with a stiff sidewall, which I suspected might be the cause of my problem. I have now logged 30,000 miles on my new Michelins, and I have never once experienced the Death Warble again! Not only that, but I can now actually drive my Jeep comfortably on long trips due to the improvement in ride quality, and I'm getting better gas milage! What more can I say, except, "Well Done Michelin." You may have saved my live, and you most certainly improved the quality of it.

My new GMC 1500 Denali came from the factory with Bridgestone tires. I asked the dealership to change out to Michelin that I had been running various models on my trucks for over 30 years. They declined and said the Bridgestone tires were "just as good". At 186 miles, on the freeway at 80 mph the left rear Bridgestone completely came apart. It delaminated like retreads do on tractor trailers. I was able to pull the truck over, put on the spare and drove back to the dealership I've never had a tire come apart like that. After a bit of a discussion with the Sales Manager the dealer persuaded GMC to replace the tires with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Couldn't be happier. The tire is quiet, handles like a dream and I don't worry about the quality. "Just as good" means inferior in my mind.

Just purchased these tires after much time reading various reviews on the internet. Wanted a tire that would offer all season reliability and still provide good traction on snow and icy road conditions. Here in Colorado they do a great job clearing the roads, but I often leave early in the mornings and it can be dangerous. We had our first snow of the season about two weeks after having these installed, and they were fantastic. They tracked extremely well in about 4" of fresh, wet snow. I never felt out of control of my vehicle. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I purchased these tires.

Excellent traction on the hot Florida Highways and most of all in the Florida downpours. The tires that came on my 2003 Honda when new would slide when excelerating from a stopped or slow position, not so with my Michelins. I now feel safe and secure both on the Highway and off in Sun or Rain. When I lived in Connecticut I always prepared for the Winter & Snow Storms with a good set of dependable Michelins for my Lincolns as I had tried several other brands that did not perform near as well nor did the tread last near as long. I have felt Safe and Secure with my Michelins for over 25 years now. The couple of times I tried another brand or purchased a car with another brand I have always gone back to Michelin as the other brands that I have experienced can not compare. Michelin is Number 1 for my cars.

I have had these LTX tires now for 2 years have put about 40K miles on them and they have performed very well. They ride smooth and make my F150 drive more like a car than a truck. Everytime I take the truck in for a rotate and balance I get great reviews from the tech's about he even wear and the long term durability of these tires. I have been very happy with my purchase. This tire was highly rated in all the research I did, and it hasn't disappointed. I've had these about 9 months and in all weather conditions they've provided excellent traction, while wearing well. That's a huge change from the stock tires that came with my Highlander, which wore out in 40,000 miles. Sure, the better tread is a little louder, and it cut a mile or two off my gas mileage, but I'm glad I bought the LTX tires and will be looking at Michelins for my wife's car next.

As a consumer I have purchased the LTX M/S tires for our families SUV's for years. They have always been very dependable, stable, good wearing and smooth tires for three different makes of SUV's. Within the next 30 days I am getting ready to purchase another set of LTX M/S tires for my pickup truck. I have never had a bad experience with this tire and find no reason to try another brand or product. As Forest Gump would have said, "quality is as quality does." Good for you Michelin.

I have owned 3 sets of these tires on a Dodge Dakota and a 2003 Ford Explorer Sporttrac ... when the factory tires are about half done, I just get a new set of the Michelins ... they are great in the wet (which is my main concern with these vehicles) also very good in the snow - I get about 75,000 miles of weat out of them ... when my 2009 Sporttrac needs new shoes (in the Spring) ... I will be looking for a set of Michelins
