My wife and I use our van for seeing America. We have made three trips since June,2012 . One trip to Colorado, one to the Everglades of Florida, and this summer to Cape Breton and PEI by way of the Maine coast. All trips were from our home in South Carolina. I check the air in all tires before each trip and trust my tires that we will have a safe trip. Michelin tires are made in our part of the state, which is one more reason to trust our tires.

Long time Michelin fan. 2 months ago we had Defenders installed on our 2017 Ram 1500 and compared to the worn OEM tires, these are very quiet. One concern (or complaint) is that on gravel roads, they pick up and throw rocks… a lot more than any tire I've ever owned. I may have to swap these if I determine the rocks are causing damages.

Have been using various Michelin tires almost exclusively since the early 1970s. The few times I've purchased another brand, I regretted it very soon. In my opinion Michelin simply makes the best tires available at a reasonable price, which usually winds up being among the lowest cost per mile, even though a larger investment up front. I especially appreciate the real safety factors such as good stopping characteristics, good traction on slick roads, low propensity for hydroplaning.

Michelin Defender Tires They make great affordable tires, and safety is a must on the mountain in the wintertime. Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

My LTX M/S tires are superior in every way to the previous 'other brand' tires that I had on my GMC Canyon pickup. The LTX M/S give an incredibly smooth ride for a light truck tire and they are quiet. They also seem to have a reasonable rolling resistance as my fuel economy remains up where it should be. I'm very happy with my decision to mount these on my truck.

I bought this set of Defender LTX M/S tires last week for my 2021 RAM 1500 Limited. As soon as I started driving the truck with the new tires I couldn’t help but notice how much smoother and quieter my ride was. Now this truck already rides like a fine luxury car but the difference these tires make is very noticeable to me. In addition to the comfort improvement you won’t find a better tire for wet traction any where. I have owned 5 sets of these tires between my wife’s 4Runners and my trucks and truly believe these are the safest and best tires you can buy especially for highway use. They last a long time too. They are not the cheapest but are the best and in the long run the best value for keeping you safe and getting long service from the tires.

I live in northern Maine and installed these on my Jeep Wrangler in late summer. The interstate up here has some very deep grooves in the road and hydroplaning is an issue in even moderate rain. The tires performed very well going through the pooled water on the roadway as I never felt any loss of traction with the road surface. Winter is just starting but for the first couple of storms and icy conditions that were left behind the tires again performed well. I already have about 8,000 miles on them and they are wearing just fine so far. I would definitely purchase these again.

Michelin tires are so reliable that my husband and I won't buy any other brand for our vehicles. They make the ride smooth and perform with excellence on wet roads. Here in Florida, the roads can turn treacherous at times due the so called "Florida ice", but we are confident our Michelin tires will always keep us safe. My first experience was on my new 1997 mini truck. I finally replaced them at 125k miles. They performed very well in all conditions including snow and ice. Cornering and handling was enhanced by these tires. I made up my mind at that time that all my vehicles would have Michelin tires. All my vehicles including three quarter ton and half ton trucks and 9 passenger vehicle. My new mini SUV also has factory issue michelin.

I have used Michelin tires on all of my vehicles both passenger cars and light trucks. Their performance in the rain and snow are exceptional. On the highway they are quiet and very responsive to road hazards. From an economic standpoint, these tires last for many miles thus the cost per mile is very low. I always recommend Michelin.
