I am so glad I got the tires when I did. My car is still new and I thought my regular tires would be good enough for the winter here in Upstate New York, but the first hint of frost and I was sliding already. So I got my new CrossClimate tires about a month ago and I went through the foot high snow of our latest snowstorm without any problems.

I live on Vancouver Island were we only saw about 4 dumps of wet snow this year but heavy rains monthly. I was very impressed with the handling in both. The car has never hydro planed and the traction is superb in the snow. One morning I drove down a very steep hill that had not been sanded and covered in ice and snow to a friends place on the ocean. I then had to return up his steep driveway covered in a foot of snow, stop and await his gate to open. I then was able to start up without the tires loosing traction. I then drove up this same icy snow covered hill with no slippage. The tires are very quite and the only negative I have found is that my fuel economy is down slightly from my previous tires, a small price to pay considering my peace of mind I get from this purchase. I strongly recommend these tires.

I can't count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer, without all the downsides.

I have owned them for two years but this is the first opportunity I have had to drive in slushy snow and sloppy conditions and they did well. I tried them in deeper snow and they do very well. The absolute best rain tires I have every used. They handle well and brake well. I am shocked I am saying all this because I usually do not prefer Michelin. these are the best tires I have ever owned and hope to use them on every vehicle going forward.

If you are a smooth driver, not pushing your car hard and drive carefully in winter conditions this is the best tire for you. Great performance on wet, slushy, snowy roads. Great summer performance in Toronto weather. Very comfy with little road noise. Used on both of our cars Subaru Legacy and Chevrolet Trax without any issue.

Have had these CrossClimate 2's on my wife's Subaru Impreza Limited for about a month. No chance to test them on snow or in heavy rain yet, but given her Subaru's great 4-wheel handling in snow, I have high expectations for how these tires will perform. Some reviewers have commented on road noise from these tires, but we've not experienced that at all. They're quiet and comfortable. A couple reviewers mentioned some wandering on grooved pavement, which I've also noticed, but not any worse than the previous Firestone's that came as original equipment. Not a problem in any way. So far, love 'em. I'll update after a snow experience.

Great tire at first, but as more miles are placed on them they get very noisy. I have them on 2 vehicles currently and each has about 20,000 miles on the tires. The tread is still in great shape. They have been rotated and balanced. The noise is to the point where I am thinking about replacing the tires with a lot of life left on them otherwise.

I've been driving on Michelin tires since I purchased a 1963 Citroen ID19, whilst I was stationed with 4CIBG in the CDN Army in West Germany. In 1972, I purchased a Volvo 142 in Canada. It came with Goodyear tires which were GARBAGE after 21,000 MILES (not Kms). The replacement Michelins lasted for 63,000 MILES (not Kms) as did their replacement Michelins. In 1975, I bought a new 1957 Ford F150. It came with Firestone original equipment tires. MORE GARBAGE after 19,000 MILES!! In 61 years, I've never had a bad experience with Michelin tires and I'm a ripe 87-year-old fart!!

After much research, The Cross Climate 2 was my choice. Extreme control and traction in the snow, slush, rain and on summer days from one tire, well four tires. lol 2007 Ford Mustang GT. Highly recommend you get these tires for your safety and everyone elses. Suprise snow storm? No problem. Torrential rain? Thunderstorm? No problem. Casual or Spirited Drivng? No problem. Get these tires! And yes, they ride quiet.

I bought these after watching "Engineering Explained" on YouTube. I wanted a high quality snow tire that wouldn't be noisy on the interstate. I drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec-v. It's a true manual transmission with no traction control and entirely too much power and only front wheel drive. I do delivery driving and have to often drive offroad and on gravel. They perform excellent on inclines and have amazing grab on gravel roads. I have been in situations where any other time I would have been stuck and these just chew right through the snow and pull. After 10k miles they're showing minimal wear, I'm very happy and impressed!
