Finally installed, first 500 miles and so far great. Was reluctant to purchase new model AS05, had several pairs or AS03's over the years on different cars. Looks like the new model AS05 is just as good and possible better. Wet and dry traction is great, looks great, little to no road noise, very smooth and hard gripping tire. Time will tell on tread life and durability. Cannot attest to snow perfermance. New AS05 is a non-directional tread pattern, as apossed to the directional tread pattern of the AS03 they are replacing. I believe the non-directional tread may, in my opinion grip slightly better?

i bought a used 2015 Hyundai Veloster with 29k miles and it had Kumho Solus tires. Their was good tread left on the tires but the ride was like if the tires were filled with cement. I upgraded to the G-Max 215/40ZR18's and the difference was night and day. The ride is much smoother and quieter and handling is great too. They performed well in the rain and also in some snow this past winter. You won't go wrong with a set of these tires. I've only put on 3k miles and still loving them.

These tires have been great to me. I live in the PNW and purchased these 800 miles after purchasing my WRX to replace the stock Dunlop summer tires (in my opinion, road conditions here hardly allow for the advantage of a summer/winter swap). I've been able to handle conditions including heavy rain and even more recently with deep snow and ice. It's hard to really pinpoint the benefits of the tires with the WRX's AWD, however I feel highly confident driving with General GMAX AS-05s. I think these are the perfect budget versatile all-season option providing safety while not sacrificing performance.

Bought these as I know the brand name. I really wasn't going to buy all seasons but changed my mind and so far I like the G Max's. Good traction as in no squeal on harder spirited corners and good stopping power. Would recommend them for the buyer that wants a good sporty tire. Thumbs up

Just had these tires installed on 2 vehicles and both sets have been great so far. The ride is smooth and more quiet than our previous brand tires. They have handled well in rainy conditions in warmer climates. No winter use yet, but am sure they will perform well in those conditions also.

Just had these installed on my Cadillac and I must say that General hit a home run with these. First thing I did was went to one of my favorite curvy roads to get ""the feel"". Man I was impressed. General tires has certainly earned my loyalty. Today we had a little rain....you know the kind that makes the roads just slick enough for rear wheel drives to smile. I could not get them to break loose. All my buddies keep telling me to shut up about these tires. To be honest, this is my first ever review. Felt like I owed it to everyone out there to share how great they are. Especially for the price. Highly recommended! It would be awesome if General could send me a few decals....(hint hint)

Bought a set of these tires , as a replacement  For Michelin pax tires I had on my 06 Acura RL. Really good tires ... smooth ride , great handling and no road noise at all.

Had them for 5 months & love them. Made the car feel way smooth & reduced noise from previous tires haven’t tested them on snow but great in rain & dry weather.

Bought these a few months ago for an Acura Type S.  Very quiet and fantastic traction.  When temperatures are cold they vibrate pretty bad the first 10 minutes then they smooth out.

Replaced the tires on my CLK320 with General AS05s and handling and breaking are great all for a great price. We have been driving on them for 2 months now.
