Ibought these tires in2004 500 miles to work each week now in 2012 i reached 200,000 miles these tires are like an urban legend to those who know me and my truck.some friends i work with have gone thru 3 sets of tires to my one whose saving money . best truck tire made bar none.

Got these tires as a replacement for the Michelin ones that were on my car when I purchased it new. The main reason for purchasing them was because of the lack of problems I had with the original set. I had 90,000 miles on the original set when replaced and am confident I can go another 90,000 miles on this new set.

We had these on our Chevy Trailblazer, because I had previously had this series on another vehicle, and was very pleased with the traction in snow. Again, these never disappointed me and better yet, we got 80,000 miles out of them, and they wore evenly all the way across the tread, and remained very effective until they simply had no tread left. Best set of tires I have ever had.

Superior difference in handling when on the road and at high speeds. Very smooth and better handling than the replaced Michelin tires that came from the factory. They look good and a bit more aggressive. So far very pleased with the tires and extremely happy with Discount Tires in Sioux Falls, SD. I have had my tires for about 10,000 miles. They are very quiet, and give me a smooth ride as well. I believe in Michelin tires and have purchased them for half of my life. They have never failed me and I have never had a problem with any of my Michelin tires getting cupped on the edges and making noise. They are not the cheapest tire but they are worth the cost in the long run. Spend the time to rotate them every 5000 miles and they will last you a long time.

I bought defender tires for my wife's car, and she drives like a grandma, which she is, and at 40,000 miles, they are almost gone., except for the one I had to replace, because of a flat that couldn't be repaired. I don't even want to talk about Michelin motorcycle tires with cracking sidewalls that lasted 3 years only...

I have run michelins for the past 15 years and recommend them to all. To some they might seem a little pricey, but I have found that they are well worth the extra expense. I have had very little problems with these tires, a few have separated but overall I am very satisfied with my decision to run michelins.

The LTX M/S tire is as good as it gets. The mileage is great along with the traction and water shedding all the way to the minimum tread wear bar. I have bought 3 sets over the years and the mileage was from 90,000 to a high of 103,000 miles on 2 different pick up trucks. I was very skeptical of the wet traction since the wear rate was very low, but to my surprise, the traction never left. Thanks for finding the perfect compromise of wear and traction as I know that having both has been a mystery for years.

Third set of the Defender LTX M/S tires on two diesel pickups used to tow approximately 15,000 # fifth wheels. They are quiet, great wet traction and decent in snow. These tires are not designed to routinely run up and down wet dirt/muddy roads, through fields or Upper Peninsula winters. Love these tires and that is why I am a repeat customer. As with any brand & model tire the vehicle must be in alignment to include the frame or there will be abnormal wear. As with any brand & model tire if the tires are not properly inflated there will be abnormal wear. Proper inflation does not mean pressuring the tire to the maximum number located on the sidewall either.
