Noisey tire, wont ever buy again

From the onset they had an obnoxious noise, it seems to get worse as time goes on, must have something to do with the tread patter, while handling is not affected its very very noisey, will never buy again. I should have taken them back after a few days but procrastinated and am stuck with them, very annoying when driving.

Very good tire for the money

This is the second set of Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max I have had on my 2008 Honda Odyssey, which I have driven for 171,000 miles, including a 15,287 mile trip to all 48 contiguous United States. These tires wear well, give a safe and comfortable ride, and give good gas mileage. I recently put them on my son's 2009 Honda CR-V, and he is as pleased as I am with these tires. Will continue to buy them as long as they are available.

Excellent winter tire

These tires came on my new car. I bought the car at the end of winter and the tires chewed up the snow quite nicely. I ran them hard the next winter and still had awesome handling. I am an UBER driver and these tires held up against constant stops, turns varying speeds. I do think some of this goes to the quality of the vehicle and how it was designed. The tires did wear down to 4mm at about 47,000 miles. So, depending on how much you drive, these could last anywhere from 2-5 years. Even at the low tread depth, these tires are handling the winter like a champ.

The Fuel Max does just that.

According to the average mpg calculation in my car, I've increased my average by 2mpg over the past month and a half. May not sound like a lot, but it has made a difference in the frequency I need to re-fill my gas tank. I will be using these for years to come. Very happy with the decision to get these.

You can't go wrong!!

When I first got my Chevy Malibu these were the tires that I had for my eco car. Which they do help save gas, so after hundred thousand miles it was time to get some new ones and I truly love the set besides the ride comfort, I feel just about every bump on the highway

Tire is loud

While the handling and grip are great, particularly in inclement weather, the tires are quite loud. A real bummer for the vehicle I drive which already had a fair amount of road noise to begin with. I hoped that the tires would 'break in' a bit and the noise would dissipate but that has, unfortunately, not been the case.

My Third Set of Assurance Fuel Max Tires

I purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max Tires for my Hyundai Sonata. This is the third set of these tires that I have owned, but the first set on this particular car. So far, I have about 500 miles on this set. Although I had success with the two previous sets, putting them on the Hyundai turned out to be a big mistake. These tires completely changed the driving experience of the car......and not in a positive way. These are the noisiest tires that I have ever had on any of my vehicles. The interior of my car sounds like a 4X4 with aggressive tread tires. The tread design looks the same as the previous sets, but my guess is that Goodyear changed something else with the construction of these tires. I will not be purchasing any more of these in the future.

What I asked for.

Oahu's roads are generally not in the best condition and due to heavy traffic constantly in need of repair. During the rainy season many chuck holes occur. I asked for tires that dampened some of te bumps and ran more quietly on rough roads. I am satisfied, I goy what I asked for.

Dry rot problem

After 50k miles (with tires only 5 years old), I have dry rot on all 4 wheels. Live in Chicago area and we have had 1 bad winter. Overall the tires did very well, including the handling in winter. I was looking forward to getting 65k miles since the tread wear is very good and am happy about their performance. Now I have to purchase a new set prematurely. I will not purchase this model as my replacements.

So far so good!!!

Recently got all four tires changed and so far so good. Nice and quite with safety in traction even with both rain and wet roads. No complains yet and no feed back on icy/snow as weather hasn't allowed. Tires look barely worn down so I know they will hold up for a long while.
