I have always trusted GoodYear tires but 45K on a 65K tire is not acceptable.

Live and learn

I'm not sure if it is the tire or the installation but something is horribly wrong. Before installation my car ran smooth and I never felt a bump in the road. Since these tires have been installed I feel every bump in the road and it feels like my car is sitting low on the ground.

Horrible

I bought a set of 4 Fuel Max tires at 91k miles four years ago and got a huge screw in the front left just yesterday with 150k. Rather than patch the tire with the hole I am going to replace all 4 with another set of the same Fuel Max which I really like. Gas mileage is a solid 5% increase over the OEM tires. I measured a best of 22.8MPG when these were new. I am very happy with getting almost 60k out of these tires. Most noticeable difference compared to OEM is when lifting throttle while cruising the van coasts farther and engine braking is less effective due to much lower rolling resistance and this is the secret of the higher gas mileage of these tires. Installed on 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. Driving is roughly 60% highway and 40% city. Only downside is these ride slightly firmer than OEM but no big deal considering gas savings $$$ in my pocket. Right now waiting for the new set to be delivered from the warehouse to the local store. Go Fuel Max!
