Duracell agm battery

I installed one in my Toyota Highlander two plus years ago. When first installed I noticed that engine turned over faster when cranked. After two years, it still cranks like the day I installed it. The old flooded plate OEM battery out-gassed acid fumes corroding metal battery brackets. After two years of this battery, no other corrosion observed. It was higher priced but it should be less expensive over life cycle if it lasts longer. AGM batteries are less prone to vibration and road shock. If you drive on rough roads or ones with potholes, it will last a lot longer then the flooded plate type. If it's for a boat, shock and vibration is big factor in lack of longevity.

Bought battery 51/2 years ago and is still starting Toyota Tundra truck. It is getting weak though after running battery down at least 4 times in the past. Will be buying another one to replace it in the next couple of days.

Purchased this to replace the battery in my 2013 Subaru Outback. Appears to be of high quality. Perfect fit and great upgrade from the factory battery!

2012 RAV4 only 6 mos but is going strong, no corrosion

After reading about who actually makes Duracell batteries, and their overall reliability, I went ahead and bought the 24/34 AGM battery. I was impressed to see the actual CCA were over 900 when tested. This is also one of the better priced AGM batteries in this size when compared to other brands such as Interstate. They are wanting almost 2x the amount for their 24/34 AGM model. If you are switching from size 24 to 34, this battery includes a required 1" spacer. Just unclip it from the top of the battery, and clip it to the bottom. Hopefully this thing lasts well beyond the 3-year warranty. Last flooded cell battery from Walmart (Everstart Maxx) barely made it beyond 37 months.

Lexus LS 460 here. Many Lexus require AGM because the battery box is tight and the off gassing of traditional batteries can corrode the $600 battery harness (I know first hand.) This battery lasted right until it was out of warranty, when I write this review, 3 years 3 months later. Car was garaged and on a battery maintainer. The challenge is that this battery at other places might be 30% more, but you also get an additional year of warranty.

I have a 2011 Lexus RX 350, Factory Battery went bad late September 2017. Went to Sams Club and purchased their best replacement battery, highly recommended. In November 2018 battery failed, internal short, Sams replaced it under warranty at no charge. November 21, 2020 replacement battery failed again internal short, again Sams replaced it under warranty no charge save $1.64 Florida state fee. I do not have a problem with Sams as they have replaced 2 batteries at no cost. However the inconvenience of having an inoperable vehicle on 2 occasions becomes tiresome and overshadows the reliability of this product. Also about 2 years ago my neighbor had a battery failure in his golf cart, he called me and I towed him back to his house he purchased a Diehard battery at Sams. He called me a week ago and asked if I had a battery charger which he then borrowed. Battery would no take a charge internal short, Sams replaced the battery at no charge. Sams Club did the right thing for him as well, but the inconvenience of Loosing the use of and having to drive to Sams and install a new batter tells me that Diehard batteries has some problems, and I would be better served buying elsewhere.
