looks good short life

i bought these tires after hearing all the jazz about them from the BFG employees here in Tuscaloosa. little did i know the cheap Cooper Tires i had on my truck where better and lasted longer. i have 30k on the tires and they are done, they also wore unevenly, i replaced ball joint and tie rods in my truck thinking that was the problem but come to find out the tires would not balance. take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Sidewall Failure

This is my 8th set of BFG KO2s on my personal rigs, and I run a fleet of 23 trucks at work with them. The latest set I purchased for my personal truck exactly one year ago. Everysingle tire is cracking on the side wall in a radial pattern. These are not weathering cracks or old tires. These cracks are thick enough to stick a quarter in them. Between all four tires there are 69 cracks in the side walls of my tires in a perfectly radial pattern. These tires were made January of 2023.

Great Snow Tire

I purchased these tires to drive to work as essential personal that doesn’t get snow days off despite harsh snow and winter conditions. When 18 inches of snow hit these tires did not disappoint. My six inch lifted 4x4 2003 Chevy Silverado LT 1500 extended cab drove almost like a normal commute day. Gas mileage wasn’t great…but then that’s not what these tires were made for. Five stars.

Poor Tread Lift on an F-350

The tire look good, but the tread life on a heavy duty pickup is poor. These lasted roughly 26000 miles before they needed to be replaced. Had about 1000 mile of towing my travel trailer on them. So nothing crazy. I also rotated them every 5000 miles or so when ever I got an oil change.

BFG KO2 Best Tire Ever

I switch from another ATM tire and wow what a difference!!! The BFG KO2 is amazing! Truck runs so much smoother on and off road. I looked at other tires as well. After lots of research and now having driven the KO2 I can say there is no comparison. The BFG is a far better tire over all. I would highly recommend the KO2 to anyone that wants a great tire!!!!

BFG Quality & fair price

I've had lots of good things to say as of today for this improved AT. Cupping issues on old tires even if ever so slight out of adj, this tire should resist. The ride is surprisingly quiet on road and off road holding the edges better with more grip on the outer edges. Lets face it, if it's an 80k mile tread life you want stay with road tires and don't worry about alignments as often. Or have a great riding excellent gripping tire for various trail conditions. Here comes Friday.

Nice tire but wears quicker than expected.

Have these on a Classic 2007 Sierra 2500 LBZ. Were excellent tires at first, off-road performance was better than expected with newer tread. Read some of the reviews with people saying they have 50-60k on them and still have plenty of tread life left. I do some minor towing of a 21 foot wake boat on the weekends and occasionally some bigger stuff. I have approximately 16,000 miles on them and they are definitely past half way worn. Seems I might be lucky to get 25k out of them. I do have a locker in the rear which I know accelerates wear, but I figured I'd easily get 30k out of a set compared to others. Rotated regularly and pressures always kept up. Tires are wearing evenly. They are a nice tire for the most part. They ride comfortably for an E range on a 2500 and are wearing evenly compared to a lot of other tires I've seen. But now as they are worn down, off road performance has drastically gone down and they just seem to be wearing much faster than most people say. I do come to expect some accelerated wear with the truck being a 2500, having a locker and a somewhat heavy foot, but not getting 20-25k out of set when others are reporting 50k+.

Excellent performance and wear

I've had these tires on my '06 Chevy Express 3500 15 passenger van for 4 years. This is a 4 ton vehicle and I put over 65,000 miles on them. I am not gentle on them, they made many trips off-road on rough rocks, as well as being aired down to 12 psi driving around on beaches and sand. I never had a flat with them, nor did I ever even have to plug one. They are tough tires that hold up well, and stay quiet and wear evenly for a very long time! When driving a family of 11 around, I need tires I can trust (and last a long time), and these BFG's fit the bill perfectly!

We drove 120,000 miles from the East to West coast!

We purchased our Ko2 ALL Terrain tires when our car had 88k miles off the coast of SC. We drove to the California coast threw 30+ state and national parks. Shipped our SUV to Maui HI, and drove back across the country stopping at more parks. Our SUV has 201k miles and we are purchasing our new set of BFGoodrich All Terrain tires!! Simply the best tire on the market.Thank you!

Not what I paid for

The tire is good for on road driving as well as MINOR off roading. They will clog up very fast in mud or snow but they are all terrains. The voids are not large enough to throw out the mud. They ride fairly smooth for how aggressive the tread tread design is. They also hydroplane easily because there are no kerfs to allow the water to evacuate easily. The only reason I give 1 star is because they were supposed to be 37 inches tall. They were actually 35.25 inches tall. I understand there would be some variance but these are 35s not 37s. I put less than 2000 miles on them and replaced already due to this. BFGoodrich should have tighter tolerances than this.
