Buyer beware!

In May 2021 I purchased a brand new Ram 1500 that came with these tires. Fast forward to July 2022 and 19000 miles and the tires have NO tread left and need to be replaced. I have done some research online and see so many similar reviews of these tires needing to be replaced under 20,000 miles. Please read reviews if you are even thinking about purchasing these tires and DO NOT DO IT! Look around and I am sure you can find a better tire for the money! Do NOT Purchase these tires!

Not a great tire.

2022 Honda Accord Hybrid, less than 25,000 miles 2 at 3/32, 2 at 5/32. Tires kept at mfg recommended pressure and have even wear, just wore quickly. Not great on puddled roads. Dry roads handling is fine. Fairly quiet riding. Won't be buying these as replacement for the ones on the car.

Failure

Brand new 2021 Honda Accord straight off the lot last March, here we are a year and a half later with 24,000 miles and the tires are almost completely bald. Don't get me wrong I drive a lot for my job I know this. But really 24,000 miles? Seems I'm not the only one complaining of this issue too. Find a new tire this is ridiculous. Tires have also been rotated like they should. So here I am after buying a $32,000 vehicle needing to shell out another $1,000 + for some actual decent tires that last like they should. Garbage.

Excellent tire.

The Eagle Touring came on our new Hyundai Kona and they have been an excellent tire. We have 45k on them now and it is about time to replace them. They have comfortably taken us to work daily, to California several times and even a couple of trips to Mexico with only one puncture to deal with. From our experience they are designed and made well. Very happy with them.

Didn't last 20K miles

I thought theses tires were pretty good (smooth ride, quite, good handling) until I went to get them rotated as part of my 20K miles vehicle service. I was told I needed to replace the tires due to the tread being worn out on the front 2 tires and being quite low on the rears. The dealer told me there was nothing that could be done and/or no tread life warranty. I'm wondering why RAM would choose to go with such a terrible OEM tire. I will be purchasing Michelin Defender LTX M/S, the same tires that I love (great treadware) & have on another vehicle. I will not buy Goodyear tires in the future if I have a choice.

Wouldn't recommend

4 brand new tires only lasted a year and a half. I did the recommended tire and balance rotation, every 6000 miles. I only got approximately 23,000 miles out of them before it was recommended that I replace them. All 4 tires tread depth's were at or becoming unsuitable for wet or snowy conditions.

Bubble after 1000 miles

These tires come with my brand new 2022 Hyndai Kona Limited. The car is abt 2 months old and less than 2000 miles. Do not remember hitting any potholes or anything like that - the roads are pretty fine over the summer. They say I need a new tire... Very disappointed with this brand - never ever had this happen, driving New York winters for many years. These tires were not my choice and I will make sure I stay away from Eagle Touring. I see that many reviewers agree!

Replaced at 25K miles. Not worth your money.

These tires came stock on my new Accord purchased in 2020. At 25K miles, they're nearly bald despite rotating every 5-7K miles. Other Goodyear tires are better quality for a reasonable price. These are not worth your money, unless you like replacing them 20-25K miles before you should have to.

Terrible Tread Life

We bought a new 2021 Toyota Highlander that came with Goodyear Eagle Touring Tires. It has been about 2 ½ years and we have put 22000 miles on the car. The tread has already worn down to below 2/32". I have never had tires that needed replaced with so few miles on them.

Not sure what all the truck owners are complaining about

Dealer replaced the O.E. tires with these when I bought my truck (used, 19000 miles). No complaints other than the typical hard ride you should expect with a 22" wheel/tire. Just took them off for the more winter appropriate Goodyear Fortitude HT in 18". After driving them nearly 11,000 miles, wear is very minimal with only slight feathering on the edges probably due to a panic stop or two so I'll rotate them when they go back on in the spring. These are 22" low profile performance oriented tires so if you buy them for a truck just know that they're not going to last like an 80,000 mile highway tire. Also, with all the rain we've had this summer they've never hydroplaned or even slipped, wet or dry. I regularly tow a tandem axle trailer with a tractor and these tires have been perfectly fine, even towing the combo off road..
