I love the new look of the all terrain ko2. I have purchased the AT's before and now I am hooked all over again because of the great looking side wall that beefs up the look of my truck. The AT's still have the proven tread pattern that is a great performer on wet, dry, and muddy surfaces.

I bought these 255x70x18 KO-2's for my Sahara 3 years ago. They are still like new. They are used on and off road and have performed excellently. They are great in the snow, rain, and dry roads. Relatively quiet on the highway. Next time around, I'll be getting KO-2's in a size or two up from stock. The only thing to consider is my gas mileage did drop a couple of mpg but its a small price to pay for the superior all terrain performance.

I installed these on my 2005 Ford F150 a little over a year ago, and I LOVE these tires. They ride like a dream, handle like a sports car tire with hardly any noise. I rotate mine at EVERY oil change which is around 3,000 miles and they still look brand new. My truck rides better than my wife's car and the off road traction is amazing. I am on my 3rd set of [LT315/70R17/E] (T/A KO1). Why change to KO2 sidewalls, which are based on "Baja Racing". Also don't know why price increased, when the tread depth was reduced from 17/32 to 15/32 (that's 1/16" less tread)! Doesn't that make them cheaper to make? (while they need replacing more often) / Looking to see what else is available that has better looking sidewalls than KO2

Well, I've done some 30k on my 1st set of KO2 and compared to previous Duratracs they have some great advantages. On my Nissan Pathfinder I drive 95% on paved roads, the rest as weekend off-road warrior. KO2s have really exceptionally good sidewalls, resistant to puncture, wear and tear, you can beat them on sharp edges, accidentally drive on sidewalk, no damage on them. I've punctured Duratracs many times, had problems to balance them out, while with TA KO2s I've never touched them since I've put them on. They are silent on road, really, and they grab excellent on dry pavement and gravel roads. BUT they have disadvantages, like we all do. On first rain you need to double or even better, triple your safety distance, as they simply will not stop the vehicle when you want it to. Cornering on wet also barrely can be called cornering, as it is more straight line, same on first few inches of snow (on pavement). Try being a hero and attack a slippery grass, covered with an inch of snow, and you'll end up looking for rescue vehicle. They are like slicks there. Duratracs under same conditions dig into surface and pull you out, leaving battle scars on the snowy fields, but they do move the vehicle, whil KO2's are not so good at this. Will probably buy again,mostly due to SECURITY they offer due to really strong 10-ply sidewals.

If you’re looking for tires that performs, these are it. Sure they don’t regenerate tread, they’re tires. You get what you pay for. these tires have never failed to get me and my family back home after an unthinkable adventure. One name. One Baja legend. BFG!

Had these in a 35/12.50R17 on my 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins. Amazing in heavy rain and snow. Truck just blazed through 6” of standing water on the highway in a thunderstorm without any issues! Almost performed too good in snow. I had to force them to break traction in 2WD so I could slide the truck around. 100% sure footed in 4WD. I will be upgrading to a 37” tire on a 17” wheel, and unfortunately, the KO2 is not available in a E load rating for my needs. Will be looking into Nitto since they have a E load rated 37” tire for a 17” wheel that has the severe snow rating. Too bad the KO2 isn’t, or I would stick with it. BFG, please make the KO2 in a 37X13.50R17 with an E load rating and you will have a customer for life!!!

I was really looking forward to getting these tires on my Ram 2500 when the OEM tires wore out. As a previous K/O owner, i was very satisfied with my experiences with the tires. But, something was just not right with these, 24k miles, 10 months, and they are shot. So worn out the shop would not even rotate them. I had gotten 60-80k out of the old version, but these just did not hold up. Seemed to do okay while they had some life to them, just did not last nearly long enough to keep them on the truck. Just not a good combination for me this time around.

Purchased my 2016 chevy colorado with these BF Goodrich AT 265/65/17s just thrown on within 5K miles, looked brand new. I have driven an additional 13-15K miles and the front tires are no longer even usuable and unevenly wear down. You need to have a subscription with a tire shop to keep these wearing properly. My front tires are near bald and need to be replaced, and it's been less than 20K miles. These are probably the best looking tire on the market in its class and feel great off road. But if I can't get these things to 25K, why would I pay this price tag again? Or even bother going BFGs again? Maybe I got a bad set. I would love to have these tires on my vehicle, but not if I have to rotate/balance every month and still not even get half the tire life that some other brands guarentee. If it wasn't for the wear issues or me having to replace them so fast, these tires would have had a 5 star review. I just don't know if I can justify trying another pair. Performance : 1 star Need to be replaced before 20K Looks: 5 stars - Got plenty of compliments and loved the way they look on the truck. Best looking tires I've had. Safety: 1 star - tread wear coming so fast, puts the tires in unsafe range long before any other tire I've had on any vehicle. Went through a construction zone and almost got into an accident b.c I was out of tread before 20K miles. Back tires look like they have 20K on them. They are great. Front tires look like I purchased them from a side of the road shop in Mexico, with a sign that said "We make tires here!"
