Don't last

I got 4 tires only 4 months ago, about 12,000 on them, and I'm going to have to get 4 new tires before winter because they are already so worn down, even bald on the inside! I do not recommend if you want longevity out of your tires! Very disappointing for the cost of the tires!

Disappointed, the tires have a mileage warranty. We suggest that you have the tires inspected by an authorized BFG retailer (the selling dealer if possible). Have them contact us with their findings so that we can address a warranty claim.

Awesome tire for mud and other off-road uses

Great tires do good on road, off-road, and anywhere in-between. I have these tires in a 37x13.50r18 and they have far surpassed the off-road/mudding performance of my prior set of 38x15.50 toyo mts. My only complaint with these tires is they pick up about every rock you go over.

Good tire on mid size truck

I’ve had these on a jeep and a chevy colorado. I’ve gotten over 50k miles out of each set. I rotate every oil change. I gave 4 stars because we actually got snow this past year and I felt like they could’ve done better but the tires had 40k something miles on them. I just replaced them with another set of ko2’s

More money for a lesser tire

I just got a new set of 315/70 R17's KO2's for my 2014 Raptor and noticed that they do have the rim guard like the K/O's. My other complaint is the tire compound seems a fair amount softer then than the previous generation as well. Needless to say I'm not very happy and won't be getting any more BFG tires from now on unless the original All Terrain T/A KO's come back.

Great Tires On and Off the Road

Have used the T/A All-Terrains for years. On full sized pickup trucks and now on my FJ Cruiser. They just keep getting better! I am running LT285 70R17s on my FJ and they are great on the road and amazing off the road. Highway noise is less than you would expect for this type of tire. Wear is truly surprisingly good!

Wore out way to quick.

I have had BFG K01 all the way up the the current K02 on my trucks. I put a new set of these K02 on my truck and after 20,000 miles I am down to almost no tread on the rear tires and the front tires have chunks messing out of the side siphon blocks. I towed a 7500 pound travel trailer in the summer a few weekends out of the month a couple hundred miles at a time and commute 50 miles a day to work. Nothing major and they still wore the way they did. I am satisfied with how they handle but very disappointed in how long they lasted.

Excellent sidewalls and on dry, but suck on wet

Well, I've done some 30k on my 1st set of KO2 and compared to previous Duratracs they have some great advantages. On my Nissan Pathfinder I drive 95% on paved roads, the rest as weekend off-road warrior. KO2s have really exceptionally good sidewalls, resistant to puncture, wear and tear, you can beat them on sharp edges, accidentally drive on sidewalk, no damage on them. I've punctured Duratracs many times, had problems to balance them out, while with TA KO2s I've never touched them since I've put them on. They are silent on road, really, and they grab excellent on dry pavement and gravel roads. BUT they have disadvantages, like we all do. On first rain you need to double or even better, triple your safety distance, as they simply will not stop the vehicle when you want it to. Cornering on wet also barrely can be called cornering, as it is more straight line, same on first few inches of snow (on pavement). Try being a hero and attack a slippery grass, covered with an inch of snow, and you'll end up looking for rescue vehicle. They are like slicks there. Duratracs under same conditions dig into surface and pull you out, leaving battle scars on the snowy fields, but they do move the vehicle, whil KO2's are not so good at this. Will probably buy again, mostly due to SECURITY they offer due to really strong 10-ply sidewals.

so far so good

I have put about 3k miles on my KO2's and love them. I bought the 35x12.5x17 for my Jeep. I drive mainly on road and the road noise is no different than the stock tires it came with. I was impressed. I off road maybe once a month if I'm lucky, but when I do I make up for lost time. The tires side wall holds up well with about 10-12 lbs. of air and grab rocks just as good as my buddies with very aggressive Mud Terrain tires. I have not been in any deep mud but splashed though a few deep spots with ease. Wearing perfect and no lugs have been tore off wheeling like my last set of M/T's. The ONLY complaint I have is that small rocks are always stuck in the tread. Most get chucked out when up to speed (45 mph) but going slow (25 mph) I hear them tapping away. I would recommend this tire for anyone wanting a great tire for both on/off road and no road noise.

very disapointed

after running the bfg all-terrain t/a ko for the past 5 years on 2 f 350s and a exployer and being completely satisfied I needed a new set and was told the new t/a ko2 may be replacing old t/a ko. so I did not want to buy a set of tires that couldent be replaced if one of them got an unfixable flat. so I bought a set of the 285/65/20 T/A KO2 to replace my set of wore out 285/65 20 T/A KO. what a disappointment! what used to be a rugged beefy looking tire that stuck out and accented any truck (witch is why most folks buy them) now leaves a gayping hole in my wheelwells even though there the same size! how can the same size tire weigh 3 lbs less and be 1 inch smaller in dia. yet cost more? BFG if it ant broke don't fix it!

Never had a problem in over 300,000 miles

I have ran my Toyota 4Runners in Utah off road areas for over 20 years now. Never had a problem. My first 4Runner came with General tires. They lasted 3 miles on dirt roads. Went back to Moab Utah and bought 5 BF Goodrich’s K2’s. In all my desert travels (paved and dirt roads) which is over 300 thousand miles, my spare tires have never touched the ground. Going to put K2’s or K3 tires on my new 2024 4Runner this week. KC Jones
