Best tire for your daily driver Truck!

I had these tire on my 2014 F150 FX4 and they were the best tires I’ve ever had. Smooth and quiet but still offered great grip in rain, snow and light off-roading. The best part is I got well over the 70,000 miles they are guaranteed for and probably could have gone further but I was taking a trip and wanted fresh tires. I hope they make an EV rated version of this tire for my next truck before the factory tires need replacement. If they do I’m in!

Awesome Tires

I've had the LTX AT 2, and the LTX M/S2 on my last two vehicles and just replaced a set of M/S2s with the new Defender LTX M/S. Very nice ride on my Tahoe, two things like like better over the M/S2, the tread is actually a little deeper which will help since I live in snow country in the winter. Also the ride seems better along with less road noise. Overall I think Michelin hit a home run with these. one Awesome tire and will recommend to anyone that asks!

I had two trucks with these tires. A Dodge Ram half ton pick-up and a Ford Econoline Van. Both had above average wear with proper maintenance (I rotated and check air pressures along with wheel balancing). Comfort and handling was excellent on local streets, the highway, snow storms, you name it.

Excellent Tire!

We own 3 vehicles (1 truck & 2 SUV's) & use the Michelin LTX M/S on all of them. We rotate them every 6,000 - 8,000 miles & have always gotten many more miles out of them than is listed. The LTX M/S is outstanding in the snow! We live in a rural area with lots of hills & curves. My husband's job requires him to be on the road before snow plows ever clear our back roads & he loves the traction they provide. Very smooth ride too!

Best summers i have ever owned.

Bought these tires trying to find something durable to run on my f-350. after one rotation and 40,000 km last summer I have 50-60% tread left and great fuel economy. i got noticeably less mileage when i put on my winters. i drive hard in many road conditions and love these tires. I average 1500 km per week and have nothing but good to say about these tires.

We have the Michelin LTX ...

We have the Michelin LTX 245/70-16 on a Nissan 4x4 Pathfinder that replaced the stock 255/65-16. Had the tires on the vehicle now for years and 40,000 miles. The tread looks like it will last another 40,000 miles and wears very even. The sidewalls are extremely rigid and must be puncture resistant. We live in a area with lots of potholes and new construction, so nails and debris is common on the road. My wife gets nail punctures very often and I don't so I have to think the deeper thread blocks and inner lining of the Michelins must have something to do with it. Where we live when it snows they don't clear the roads, so I only drive the Pathfinder then because the tires have really good grip on show and icy roads. They are way better than the OE tires, I am very impressed. If there is any negative complain I would say they do ride harder than the OE tires, they are very quiet but you do feel the road surface more.

MICHELIN ARE THE ONLY TIRES FOR OUR BUISNESS

WE HAVE MANY VEHICLES ON OUR FARM MICHELIN GIVE US THE MOST KMS THAN ANY OTHER TIRE WE EVER USED. THERE WARRANTY IS THE BEST AND THERE DURABILITY IS FANTASTIC. WE HAVE 4 PICKUPS AND 2 SUV ALL RUNNING MICHELIN TIRES. YOU CAN EXPECT TO GET OVER 110000KMS PER SET. WE FIGURED OUT THEY COST US LESS THAN 1 CENT PER KM FOR ALL FOUR TIRES THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST. ON THE 2010 F150 THE MICHELIN TIRES WERE 4 YRS OLD AND OVER 130000KMS ON THAT SET. THE TIRES WERE STILL NOT TOTALLY DONE BUT WE THOUGHT IT WAS TIME WE GOT GREAT VALUE AGAIN THANK YOU MICHELIN

Great long-lasting tire ...

Great long-lasting tire on my 2003 Ford Excursion. I have over 20,000 miles on these tires and they show no signs of wear. They work well on dry pavement and the grooves are deep enough to handle standing water with no problem. The tread is also agressive enough to handle deep snow. The rubber compound seems soft even when cold to handle ice as well.

Well made tire

I have been employed by Ford dealer for many years and have experience with many different tire brands. Michelin tires have always been the best built tires in my experience. The initial quality is very consistent.Today I installed 4 MICHELIN® Defender® LTX® M/S 245/65R17 tires on my 2008 Ford Explorer. I used Hunter GSP9700 balancer. All tires had Road Force Measurement less than 11 lbs. By moving tires on the rim, I managed to drop Road Force Measurements to 2 lbs,9 lbs, 4 lbs and 8 lbs and matched front tires to 0 lbs Net Pull. And this is pretty heavy truck tire. The Road Force limit for P-metric and Euro-metric tires is 26 lbs.

After 15 years of ...

After 15 years of "Michelin only", thinking I should be more frugal, I ran through two sets of a competitor's brand, never coming close to Michelin's performance or longevity! Before leaving for our summer vacation '10, I put a full set on our all-wheel drive SUV, and the difference was AMAZING ... driving was a pleasure, like a million little fingers were gripping the road as we drove cross-country through Virginia's scenic highways ... the ride was far more comforatble, and fuel economy actually increased! My earlier Michelin sets had always had good tread up to the milage forecast ... not so with "brands X" ... I'm so glad to be back in safe hands ... clearly, my Michelin tires are still the best investment I can make for my family's transportation.
