After six months on a mid-size SUV, the tires are smooth, quiet, while retaining good handling and winter traction performance. The only drawback is rolling resistance seems higher than OEM tires. Rolling resistance affects gas mileage, but the impact is unknown.

I purchased these tires in September 2021. I did a lot of online research and the reviews were very positive on the traction of these tires in the rain and snow. Since I purchased them for my winter car (in Michigan) this was a huge determination in purchasing these tires. I have been very disappointed in the grip in the rain and snow. The tires easily spin when not even giving the vehicle (Dodge Journey) much gas. I paid a premium for these tires and would not purchase again based on performance.

I have had these Cross Climate 2 tires since March now. I LOVE THESE TIRES!!! I usually write reviews, but these tires deserve one! I have now had experience in multiple seasons driving on them and I am extremely impressed! We have our first snow here in southern Oregon, only 2-3", and I do not feet the need to rush to get my snow tires put on (I will do that soon because we'll get more snow) but these tires are safe and comfortable for now to allow me time to schedule the swap. Wanted to replace OEM Bridgestone on 2020 Lexus RX350 after the first week but decided to wait 8 months for CrossClimate2 to become available. It was worth the wait, my Lexus now rides like luxury vehicle it is. Ride is much smoother, noticeably quieter and overall more solid feel when making left/right turns. Handles very well and provides confident feeling on very wet roads, hoping for same in the winter. Great tire!

I highly recommend these. My wife and I put these on our Nissan Murano. We live in North Dakota. The roads here can get quite bad in the winter. My wife was in an accident(due to bad roads), she lost control and totalled my truck. I wanted her to feel comfortable again driving. These tires are the best tires I've ever seen in the winter. The control on bad roads is amazing. Highly recommend these if you deal with 6 months of winter. Only downfall is they're sighly louder at 80-85mph in the summer. Not bad enough for me to give them anything short of 5 stars.

Research, reviews and tests were mixed on the cross climate 2 but I bought them anyway. They are not the worst tires I have ever had but not anything like the Yokahama Parada Spec X I took off either. They are good in rain, haven’t driven in snow yet but they are rated high for snow but my issues with this tire is on dry tar. No changes to vehicle except new tires. The car wants to wonder now. It is difficult to keep it going straight at any speed. The car feels squishy on dry tar now. Doesn’t feel stable anymore. I don’t track my mileage but the car seems to drag now so I suspect the mileage decrease complaints are probably correct. The tires do make noise at times. Mainly on dry tar with the windows open and you are stepping on the gas. You must over inflate these tires to increase the stability. I run 40 psi in front for better steering but it helps only slightly and that may wear them out prematurely. The bottom line is that there are a lot of choices in tires no need to put up with the negatives of these tires.

Excellent grip (accelerating and braking) and ride in all conditions. First road trip MN->SD this past summer was a pleasure on both dry and wet roads. Recently had a 20” snowfall this winter and again was very pleased with all aspects of the tires.

Absolutely love these tires. Was looking for all season tires with excellent snow rating. Drive up into the mountains regularly and these were fantastic in the snow. They are also quiet in the summer as I like to drive with windows down and sunroof open. Perfect tires, I just wish they made something similar for our Model 3 Tesla.

Was on the fence about purchasing primary winter tires, but the CrossClimate2s solved the concern about the seasonal changing from snow to "regular". Oddly, since I bought them, we winters have been far less severe. On the occasions when there was a snowfall, there was not too much accumulation, so have not had the chance to see how they would fare in deep snow. But they are far superior to all-seasons in terms of traction in slush and partially-frozen pavement. Definite recommendation

I bought these tires 7 years ago for the first time. I have since put them on every vehicle I own as well as tell everyone I know to get them. The are smooth riding, long lasting, all around amazing tire. I will continue to put them on every vehicle I drive. Sometimes people have bad experiences but I can tell you more than likely it’s not the tires fault.
