Ride with confidence

I replaced my Michelin Primacys to give these a try. I live in upstate New York where we get harsh winters. So far I am satisfied, I feel more confident on the road, however a little more road noise and slight steering wheel feel which is expected with such an aggressive thread. I believe these tires are second to none when it comes to an all season tire with the snow factor included.

CC2's Are a Great Choice

These are excellent tires for most cars and SUV's. This is our 3rd set of the CC2's. One set went 65,000 and the other 62,000 miles. I always change tires when at around 4/32 and probably could have increase that number, but living in a 4 season area, I'd prefer to have more tread due to winter climate. They handle really well in all environments, for the type of driving my family and I do. Snow, ice, rain, I am always impressed with their control on all surfaces. They have a nice firm, but comfortable ride on our Subaru's. My only issue would be road noise, but it's not excessive and not a deal breaker. Michelin's IMO are always worth the added cost.

Lower MPG

I was averaging 40 to 41 miles per gallon in my RAV4 hybrid Limited with the OEM tires. I just installed a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. These handle better than the OEM and are more surefooted on mountain roads. I read other CrossClimate2 owners were getting lower mpg so I raised the inflation 4 psi over the recommended pressure to see if that would help. Even with the higher pressure I'm now consistently averaging 34.5 MPG. 15% lower. EV's and hybrid's get a triple hit from high rolling resistance tires like the CrossClimate 2. First when running on gas only, Second from faster battery drain while using battery power only and a third from a loss in regeneration to recharge the battery when coasting or braking.

jbassoc, you make some good points, also new tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires.  As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases.  Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve. In addition, there is also the Michelin Promise Plan that offers a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your new set of Michelin tires, just return to the selling retailer to exchange them for a new set of equal or lesser value.

Smooth, quiet, ferocious stopping ability.

I bought the H speed rated instead of the V hoping to get a softer ride. The 19 rims on the 2015 Lexus RX 350 don't ride very well. Impressive stopping ability. I mean impressive. Good grip on wet roads. Handles well. Fuel mileage dropped 2mpg. After 18 months I'm pleased with the wear. Very smooth ride on smooth surfaces. Harsh on really bad roads. One tire made an awful noise constantly. Warranty replacement fixed that problem. Almost silent on smooth roads. These tires must be difficult to manufacture. Enormous differences from tire to tire in the amount of wheel weights needed to get them balanced. I've never had a set of tires that needed this many wheel weights. Correctly balanced the car is smooth at 85 MPH. Outside of the fuel mileage drop they are outstanding tires.

The best for the everyday grind.

I drive for Uber-- 50,000+ miles a year in Ohio. With over 11000 trips, these tires have out-performed all expectations. Great traction--even in Ohio winter conditions. Improved gas mileage and much quieter than the equivalent Goodyear's 'best' I had before. I am about to replace my tires again--and I am not looking around--these tires are the best for every day use.

Best Tires I have ever purchased!

I drive 65k miles a year. The current set of CrossClimate 2 have 80k miles on them. I rotate these tires with each oil change every 5k miles. This set still has 6/32's tread left on all 4 tires. The all weather traction is amazing. Great traction in the rain reducing hydroplaning and great stopping. I drive a front wheel drive Camry and I was able to safely travel with 6+ inches of snow this year on several occasions. I would not buy another tire knowing the abilities of these tires. I still drive with care during inclement weather but I feel safer knowing I have these tires gripping the highway. All tires are not created equal. These tires were designed for travelers and I'm grateful for them. This is my second Camry with CrossClimates and both sets lasted over 80k before turning in the car. I hate turning in an old car each time for a new car not knowing the abilities of the tires on the new car. These need to be standard equipment on Toyota Camry's.

Excellent choice!

We put these tires on our 23 Hyundai Palisade and we have about 5,400 on them so far and are very happy with them! We did a road trip from ND to Oregon and on to Nevada. Drove on dry pavement, snow/compacted ice, thru a foot of fresh snow and rain of all levels thru flat terrain to mountain terrain. The tires handled all and were very quiet and provided a great ride. Very happy with the tires and recommend highly.

Mountain roads

Had tires 1 year and am very pleased with all weather capabilities. I travel between Vancouver BC and Calgary on a regular basis so from sea level to the Rockies and the weather is highly unpredictable, the cross climate 2 are always ready to tackle an weather in a predictable and reliable fashion . I have recommended these tires to family and friends!

Snow driving

I live in Minnesota and got to test them they this weekend in a snowstorm. They did fantastic. Never slipped once. They have great acceleration traction. I was worried a bit about my fuel economy with these cause I drive a lot. I seem to be getting a solid 31-33 mpg on the highway which is great.

Michelin CrossClimate All-Season — My Honest Review

I bought my tires in the spring of 2023. I've been driving on Michelin CrossClimate All-Season tires for a while, and I couldn't be happier. From day one they transformed the driving experience — the ride is noticeably smooth and confident. I seriously love my tires! Comfort & Ride Quality: The car feels composed and supple over city streets and highway miles. Road noise is low, and bumps are absorbed cleanly, so long drives are far less fatiguing. All‑Weather Performance: These tires handle rain, dry pavement, and light snow with impressive consistency. Wet braking and cornering feel secure — I've had no worries even in heavy downpours. In colder temperatures and light winter conditions they maintain traction and stability better than many other all‑season tires I've tried. Traction & Handling: Grip is excellent across varied surfaces. Cornering is predictable and responsive, and the tires inspire confidence when accelerating or changing lanes. Traction from stop to go is strong and reliable. Durability & Wear: So far they show even wear and good tread life. Michelin's build quality gives me confidence they'll last and remain safe over many miles. Overall Value: These tires deliver a premium blend of comfort, safety, and year‑round versatility. If you want one set that performs well in most conditions without swapping seasonal tires, the CrossClimate All‑Season is a great choice. Summary: Smooth ride, dependable traction in all weather, and confident handling — I love these tires and highly recommend them.
