decent tire

I purchased tires for a modified s10 pickup looking for better grip after the modifications. At first these tires were very quiet and very grippy. Then came the noise at moderate speed. These tires really hum a tone at 50 mph to 70 mph. The grip has never faltered but I will be looking for QUIETER tires to replace them with when the time comes. They are just too noisy

always been happy with BFG

Its been over two years and no the car does not get driven much never been curbed and don't use nasty tire cleaners, been very happy with wear and aging of the tires an getting two more very soon just for the rear because fatter is better and they have the same overall height. I do not go through car washes, nor do I let anyone apply anything to my tires to make them shine.

Check tire size to see if it matches correct hight

I bought these tires a few years age while working on my 1969 camaro SS. Now I have it together and driving it, I could not get the speed-o-meter to reed the same as my gps. We kept checking gear ratios but they kept adding up to the correct Speedo gear. So finally we checked tire size, the Goodrich 235/60r15’s are not 26.1 inches tall, they are only a little over 25 inches mounted and with 32 pounds of air on the original Chevy 7.5 rims.

Brown letters

I agree with the other reviews, the white letters will turn brown, and you can not get them white again, very disappointed, with that, other wise they ride nice, if you can stand the brown letters, thinking of trying to find a way to paint them white again

Brown raised letters?

Purchased two sets of the tires for my 1966 and 1987 mustangs. What an embarrassment. The letters are supposed to be white. I tried every possible cleaner and nothing will get them white. Both sets of tires are like that. If I could take them back I would. I have advised all my car club friends to stay away from these poor quality tires

White Wall Cleaner

I have had these tires on my off road dune buggy for 2 years now it plays in mud, sand and everything else, and to all the people who talk about the "brown" letters, they just need to learn how to clean them. I use Malco white wall cleaner and a scub brush and mine look as good as new! PS so did my 30 year old set that I took off 2 years ago.

Raised Brown Letter Tires

I just finished restoring my 1970 Chevelle SS396 and I was excited about getting my new BFG White letter T/A's. After installing the NOT- white letters, the dealer said the letters would probably scrub white. NOTHING works! Not even Comet and a scrub brush, which I used on all my other vehicles! They are embarrassing at car shows.

Are You Kidding?

Are You Kidding ? You cannot own and drive Real Muscle Cars with any other tire , I have had some version of the T/A on at least 30 cars since 1977. I wouldn't roll any other way. the look, the ride and the wet traction (for those that drive em year round)is tough to beat. If you got one drive it!
