Crazy Brown Lettering wrecks the cars look!

Bought new BFG TA radials for my restored 70 camaro and within a month the white lettering had turned brown never to be white again no matter what I clean it with. Even searched out the best detailer in my city and let him have a go at it and they were slightly whiter for about 48 hours and then back to the brown. Should have gone with the Nitto's but had BFG's on it and loved them, these new ones not so much.

The P295/50R15

This is a great tire in this size folks, the best BFG radial IMHO is this size BFG the p295/50R15. I use it on a 15x10 wheel on the rear of my 1981 camaro. Being this size, it offers better ride and handling and wears good in every day driving. In this car its good to get the most tire in the rear you can stuff in it. This size is even better in the rear of the lighter weight vehicles as the wear character is slightly better on a 2800 lb car like a cobra kit car or 1973 comet for example. And I cant find anything wrong with this size radial, except I only use a slick at the track anyway, this is a great tire yall they should never get rid of it ever or change it Ive been buying since I was 16 and is the only size radial I buy for the rear of a car. outy.

RWL should be RBL! Who wants Raised Brown Letter tires?

BF Goodrich has always been one of my favorite tire brands, but I guess all good things must come to an end. I purchased a new set of BFG Radial T/As for my '77 Trans Am, and even when they were first installed the letters didn't seem to look quite white. I ignored it thinking they just need a good cleaning. I cleaned them and got them looking a little whiter, and then put the car into storage. However, the next time I got the car out the letters were noticeably dingy and looked brown. As first I thought maybe it was just my eyes, or maybe I wasn't using the right product on the tires. I finally took the car to have it professionally detailed, and even they couldn't make the letters look white! Then I did a Google search and found that many other people were having the exact same issue. I took the car back to where I purchased the tires and they told me some mumbo jumbo about how this is supposed to be normal. Normal?! I know what white looks like. I also know that the letters on all the BFGs I purchased in previous years had white letters, NOT BROWN!!! They offered me 30% off a replacement set. I have less than 1000 miles on the tires I already purchased. Thanks, but no thanks. I take my money and purchase a different brand. They may not be as iconic as BFGs, but at least the letters will be white the way they're supposed to be!

Great Tire Great Traction

Great tire. 2 sets. 2wd v6 SLT club cab Dakota. 255/70R15. Excellent wet and dry traction. They corner and BRAKE Well! Several emergency stops in Dallas where my other tires would have failed me. There wear somewhat quickly but 40k isn't bad for excellent traction even down to the bone. If you get 60k... that is hard rubber that won't stop you. I switched to the Rugged Terrain T/A on my Dakota now since I now need a little better offroad gravel traction.

White Letters turning BROWN

I have always had BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires on my Fox body Mustangs over a 30 year period. Just bought new tires within the last 2 years. And the car is always kept in the garage. They still have the "nubs" on them so the problem is obviously BF Goodrich! What are they going to do with so many unhappy buyers. I can't get mine WHITE like they should be and quite frankly for the amount of money I spent, they should be BRIGHT WHITE! I think they need to replace them!

I mounted 265/70R15 BFG ...

I mounted 265/70R15 BFG Radial T/A tires on the factory wheels of my 2006 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport single cab pickup and have been very satisfied thus far. The tires are larger than the previous set and with the raised white lettering, lend a sporty look to the truck which is white with black trim. The ride is noticeably smoother and quieter with the Radial T/As and both handling and traction have improved over the Goodyear Wrangler RS tires they replaced. Over all I am quite satisfied with these tires and would highly recommend them for a variety of applications on both cars and light trucks.

Great tire for your classic car

I have owned many sets of these tire over the years. Getting ready to buy another set for my dad's 66 Chevelle that he restoring. He has owned this car for 47 years. It was his high school transportation, he and my mom dated in this car, it was a drag race car all of my childhood, now its being restored to almost original glory. Only the best parts have been used during the rebuild, so why would we choose any other tire. BFGoodrich Radial T/A is the best tire available for a muscle car! Thanks for a great tire time and time again. *On a small note to the other reviews in regards to the browning of the letters. It's seems the complaint is only about the rear tires, which makes perfect sense. Doing burn outs will cause this to happen.

Great Traction

First time using BF Goodrich product and please to say they have lived up to their name. Recently, purchased a set of 4 tires for my truck and the ride has been smooth ever since. I'm enjoying hearing the sound of the tires gripping the road as i make a sharp corner. Previous tires would give a slip before traction on wet surfaces but with these radials no slip; traction all the way.

Poor raised letters

I have 4 new TA'S to replace 4 14 year old ones. The letters are very poor. Can't get them white at all. they look off white at best. My 14 year old letters look better than these new ones. I see many complaints about this issue. Wish I had read these reviews first.

I had to pick this tire ...

I had to pick this tire to review, my car is not finished yet but 3 of my buddies have them on their cars and they look so good on there that i can not wait until mine is done so I can outfit it with the T/A white letters. A ton of the muscle cars at the shows still don't look right unless they have a set on there.
