My PREMIER LTX tires handled well and were quiet. But, the PREMIER LTX tires prematurely wore out after only 33,000 miles while they were warrantied for 60,000 miles. However, the Michelin dealer honored the tire wear warranty and prorated my replacement tires (Michelin Defender).

I was so surprised to read most of the negative reviews of this tire bc I had them on my BMW X5 and they were excellent!!! Wet, dry and snow!! I drove in 8” of snow and some ice with out a single problem. And tread like was great, no problems there either so I do not understand what went wrong for other consumers.

My husband & I bought a set of PREMIER LTX tires for my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee from BJ's. (They had the best deal.) I love the way they handle all around...especially great handling on wet roads. My 12 year old Jeep rides like I have a new car now!

These tires were on my new Equinox. At 26569 miles my tires are considered bald at 2/32 on 1 and 3/32 on the other 3. For a 60,000 mile tire I find this completely unacceptable. After seeing others have the exact issue this is Not a Isolated problem. How can you fix this?

I leased my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and these were the tires that came on the vehicle. I have been very diligent in getting my oil changed and tires rotated. Dealership records can confirm. I always lease for 3 years with 15,000 miles per year. I went in today for my scheduled oil change and rotation and was told I need 4 new tires. The vehicle just rolled over 30,000 miles. I have never had to replace tires on any of my vehicles at this low mileage. It’s really frustrating that these tires are guaranteed for 60,000 miles. I was told by everyone I talked to that they can’t believe this and thought Michelin was a top rated tire. I hope Michelin stands behind their 60,000 mile warranty because this tire definitely didn’t stand up to what Michelin claims.

I have purchased Michelin defender tires for all my vehicles for years, but Michelin diohave it in 245/50 R20 for my 2019 Acura MDX, so I went with the Premier LTX. While I liked the ride on them, they were not very good in snow and I’ve been told twice by different service centers that they need to be replaced, showing 2/32 tread depth with around 20k miles and only a year old. Very disappointed. Please make the Defender LYX in a 245/50 R20 size.

Put 86,000+ miles on a set of these tires without one single problem. However, they were rotated every 5000 mile and the proper air pressure was maintained. They ware 7 years old with safe tread but were starting to show some ozone cracking. Replaced them with the same model Michelin tires.

I’ve always had great success with Michelin tires. The Premier LTX I bought in Sept 2019 are the exception. I currently have less than 30K miles on them, and noticed the treads are worn considerably. I mentioned this to my dealer and he said they are at 5/32”, and were only 10/32” when new. He said based on this I’m at 50% of the life expectancy. Well, I wasn’t thinking….they will need to be replaced at 3/32”, so in reality they are 80% worn and I will be lucky to (safely) get another 5 or 10K on them. Aside from this, they’ve been good tires…ride and handle well. I’m hoping Michelin treats me fairly on the warranty, and has a better tire to replace them with.

These came with our Lexus RX 350 we purchased back in 2021. I live in FL so no worries about winter wear. The car is driven recreationally since COVID as we work from home. The car has 19700 miles yet all 4 of these tires already need to be replaced!!! Wow Michelin, like another reviewer said, I used to swap out tires when I bought a new car with Michelins but after this experience I’m not sure I will go Michelin in the future.

I have a 2017 GMC Acadia with 29k, took it to the dealership told them felt like bad tire, was told nothing wrong with the tires, went on a couple of weeks, took it back, said there is way too much vibration, told again, nothing wrong, 3rd trip in, had to get mad, asked for the manager, 3rd time they finally tell me. every Tire has a slipped belt, they won’t stand behind them, I now have to buy 4 new tires, I should have 30k more miles before I need to get new
