It was soon sandy and watery,, does not has the distinctive flavor of papaya

Felt firm on the outside but when cut open it was over ripe/rotten.

Tasted horrible . I’ve had papaya before but these tasted horrible and were white on the inside.

I had never tasted papayas before, but I decided to try one of these and I am so glad I did. I simply cut them in half lengthwise, scoop out the seeds with a spoon and eat it right out of the shell with a spoon, I also like to squirt a little lime on it, I read that it brings out the flavor and that is true, at least for me. Sam's club has these at a great price, I hope they keep them in stock.

i ordered this online for a curveside pickup. And I got a very sweet papaya but I was thinking to make a Papaya Salad so I needed a very green hard papaya. But since this kind of papaya is not used for a salad, I buy it another place. Hope to have a green papaya at Sams next time.
