It took me a long time to like Prego but now I love it.  I keep a jar on hand for days I don’t feel like making a homemade sauce.  It’s delicious. Sometimes I just add fresh mushrooms and onions and spices. Always buy Prego.  Love it like my nana’s homemade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Prego! It's rich but not overwhelming on the tomato or seasonings. It's thick enough that it clings to the pasta rather than being runny like you get with other jar/canned sauces. Regardless of the flavor Prego is perfection, you can't go wrong!

Prego is 100% the best store bought sauce. I can always tell when a sauce is not prego. It just has the perfect amount of spices and doesn’t taste too tomato-y. I recently went somewhere that didn’t have prego so i had to buy another brand and it ruined the meal for me, i will not compromise again. If you haven’t tried it, definitely do so, it is worth the whatever the cost difference is in another brand forsure.

Love eating pasta and I don't like at of sauce on my pasta but when I use sauce for my pasta I always get Prego there's so many different varieties and it's very affordable. And I love the chunks of vegetables they have in them it's good old Italian sauce love it.

I use this sauce to make my favorite spaghetti sauce. All i do is cook up some beef add the sauce and a couple spices. Cook all of it together then mix it with thick spaghetti noodles. As long as I already have the spices i can make this meal for about six dollars.

I still like to make my own Italian tomato sauce but I like my base to be Prego. I start with a big jar of Prego and add my spicy sausage and hamburger, then add mushroom and perhaps some tomatoes from the garden long with my own blend of spices for the sauce. Actually Prego makes it most convent for me to make a huge stock pot of Italian sauce and divide it into servings for freezing. The family always asks for my homemade spaghetti...they don't have to know my secret ingredient is Prego. it is good all by itself right from the jar over your pasta. Sometimes I throw in left over chicken or shrimp...Prego is a great builder OR straight from the jar.

No need to doctor this sauce up. It is ready to go. This is perfect for all things needing a good flavored red sauce. You can add ground meat to it and its even better. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy solution to a great jar sauce.

I grew up eating other spaghetti sauce brands but when I started cooking for myself, I discovered Prego Traditional. I add in browned ground beef or Italian sausage for heartiness when serving over spaghetti and also use it when making zucchini boats or mini pizzas on Texas toast. It’s not overly herby or spicy and has that savory sweetness that a good quality sauce should have

This is my go to for lasagna. It makes a great base and tastes great too. Mix it in with cottage cheese, sausage and some cheese and it's perfect! It doesn't make the lasagna too wet when it cooks, it gets a little thicker. So it's perfect! It tastes amazing every time!

Prego Pasta Sauce Traditional Italian Tomato Sauce in my opinion isn't all that great ☹ I have bought again in a pinch and had to doctor it up. This product is not pricey soooooo if you need a sauce this might do. I have also used this to make lasagna. I would recommend it but only if you have some spices
