Michelin Defender2 - 235/55R19 105H Tire

Normally I only buy Michelin tires. I have a set on my 2017 Toyota Sienna and they are crumbling away for some reason.

Tires are crumbling. I hope Michelin does something about this.

Michelin continues to have a good reputation. tires feel solid. smooth, quiet ride. i like the made in USA part.

Purchased a week ago before a road trip.  What a pleasure to ride with quality tires!  Makes a huge difference for an enjoyable and safe trip.

Michelin Quality at it's finest!

I've owned Michelin tires now for approximately ten years, I have both summer and winter and wouldn't own any of the others

About a week ago,I purchased 4 defender tires for my 2021 Hyundai Accent and was amazed at the results.

In seven days, my gas mileage went from 35 MPG to44.41.

My last Michelin tires which were stock to my new Toyota had 60,000 miles so I purchased these 80,000 mile rated Michelin's, a great value.

quiet ride

It gives a smooth ride, no bumps on a cold start. I have 2 sets, winter which also are very good on snow and ice. Ran Michelin for over 50 years.

Very good ride on dry or wet road

These are the tires my husband buys for his F150, glad I listened to him and bought them for my car.

My SUV rides better

I love Michelin tires, will not buy any other brand again if I can help it. Most comfortable, quiet longest lasting tires I have ever had.

I purchased four Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Toyota Camry, and I'm very pleased w/ their performance.

Great Tires!

I am very disappointed with the Michelin Defender 2.  The 4 tires are rated for 80,000 miles.  However, I am experiencing uneven wear (feathering) on al 4 tires at 12,000 miles.  I have documentation to prove I have been aligning my tires at Firestone since the tires were purchased new.  The shocks and struts are new on my vehicle.  However, I am experiencing noisy tires, and the roads feel bumpy all the time.

Poor Reliability

I purchased these for my wife's 2024 Tucson AWD. Only like 4,000 miles so far, but they have been smooth, quiet, and grippy. We've had hot, cold, and rain and they've worked well. Haven't had the chance for snow yet. They were a little expensive. Only the future will tell if it was worth it or now. So far, the answer is yes. We will see how they wear.
