The ride is so smooth and the noise level is so much better than the tires that were on the car when I originally purchased it gently used. I use the car when taking my parents to their doctors appointment and both of them commented about the difference in the ride and the cars handling in taking turns. My brother always recommends Michelin, and my dad was impressed by the name drop and said “there the best”. The tread is top notch and the warrantee impeccable, they seem well constructed. I live in a state famous for its potholes and having the worst roads in the country, and these tires have handled the heavy construction zones of nearly every highway being in constant state of repair but never ever being done and always ending up worse than when they started “improving” them.

I was disappointed when I saw the B rating on the traction for an all season radial. I would have preferred and 800 tread wear with an A traction for an all season radial. My fault for thinking all Michelin Defenders were A A rated when I was investigating the tires. The same name (Defender) across the line is confusing.

I am a dedicated Michelin fan. I think they are the absolute BEST tires in the world. I bought a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires for my 2020 GMC Terrain, but unfortunately, I was rear-ended on the freeway with less than 1,000 miles on the new tires. The car was declared "Total Loss" by the insurance company. Now, I have to wear down the tires on my replacement car's off-brand tires so I can put Michelins on it. Only then, will I feel safe and satisfied. Thank you for caring enough to make the best product money can buy!

Buying Michelin Tires goes back many years starting with my family. Paying a higher price for a tire is worth every cent and the warranty on the Michelin Defender 2 goes a long way on the wear and tear on the tires. The Defender 2 is a quite and smooth tire and I am very satisfied with the performance of the tire.

This is my 3nd set of Michelin defender tires. They have all been excellent and gave me great tread life. The Defender 2 I just purchased are quiet and they handle great, much better than the tires that came with the car when they were new. I'm very pleased and I'm confident I will get the same milage from these as with past Michelin tires

This is my fifth or sixth set of Defender 2 tires. These are the only tires I will by and recommend to family and friends. I live in New England with warm hot summers, rainy spring and icy and snowy winters. These tires are GREAT! And with an 80,000 warranty and Michelin standing behind it - I love the tires.

I chose the tires because they are Canadian made. I've only put about 10,000 km on them but I have noticed that my gas milage is better. I have a RAV4 Hybrid which in summer I was getting 5.4 l/100 km for the past 3 years. I am now getting 5.2 to 5.3 l/km. Not a big saving but I will take it. In old terms that is an improvement of 1 to 2 miles per Imperial gallon. I also feel safer with the new tires as Michelin is known for their high quality.

Excellent tires! I've been using Defenders for years and always replaced them around 30,000 km, well beyond the official warranty. What's impressive is that the tread still looks barely worn. I highly recommend this brand—they offer outstanding value for the money. I've used Defenders for the past 11 years on my van, towing a 4,500 lb travel trailer every summer. Today the van has 563,095 km on it, all with Defenders—because I don't like dealing with flat tires. Keep up the great work!

I has one tire replaced due to dry rot and then a couple weeks after that the rest of the set (3) I was so happy how my car drove I bought the Lincoln town car used and these new tires made the car drive so much better like driving on butter I had another Lincoln and it drove the same with Michelin tires the defender 2 are great tires

I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II's and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.
