This is so much better than I expected. It has lots of power came with several drill bits and is like a mini drill. This is great for anybody who has a home or an apartment and needs to do little mine and repairs and things. I had a loose shower handle for months and fixed it in seconds. I felt really silly for having waited this long to Get a tool to fix it myself. I almost paid somebody to come in and fix my shower handle. This makes me wanna do a lot more things around the house myself.

This is a great tool for "Honey-Do" jobs around the house. It helps tremendously when having pre-fab items to put together, ie Ikea, etc. It has a nice size and feel in your hand and the torque is strong enough to accomplish many tasks. I like the fact that I can use this tool versus going overkill with my other heavier, power drills. It also can be charged using available usb ports. Great array of bits and even has a small screwdriver handle if you want to go manual.

My Skil 4V screwdriver is the perfect tool it isn't too big like some rechargable screwdrivers it is easy to handle and you can switch from forward to reverse with one hand. I love my Skil it is a great addition toy toolbox. I would recommend this tool to anyone looking for a rechargable screwdriver

I bought the predecessor model to this driver around ten years ago. It has given yeoman service, good battery life, good torque. The battery is finally giving up the ghost, so I bought two new ones. I like the directional switch better on the new ones.

This is my fourth Skill Screwdriver. I keep losing their chargers. But this one has a mini HDMI that a lot of items use for charging. So I have chargers for these connections all over the place. Looks like this little gem will now last me a while.

As a pistol type of driver, it worked well. As a straight driver I found the trigger position awkward. I also found that the screw direction switch pointed opposite to the drive direction. At times this caused a slowdown in production as a screw would either drive or reverse at the wrong moment. I also own an older Skil driver and all you had to do to drive and change directions was press the toggle switch the appropriate direction. I prefer this feature over the pistol trigger and separate direction switch.

This small screwdriver is intended for smaller jobs and is therefore not as powerful as a full sized screw gun, which is absolutely fine because its real benefit is for getting into small spaces when performing finish type work. It is absolutely the tool I didn't know that I needed, but now I do.

I bought this to replace a 4.8V cordless screwdriver (different brand) that was amazing at first, but has lost both top end power and battery capacity after 2-3 years. Pros: - Power: my first worry was if this one would do the work of the 4.8 but it passed with flying colors. I ended up screwing a screw into a stud for one of our first projects, and sound-wise I thought it was not boing to make it but it carried on through the stud all the way until buried. - The versatility of the twist from gun shape to straight is awesome. - In pictures it looked like it might be fatter than other cordless screwdrivers (because of the bit holder near the tip) but it wasn't. And the elongated bit holder helps with reach into smaller areas. Plus it comes with an extender. - The extender and other spare bits are handy to have around. Cons: - The light is always on when you are running the screwdriver, but I'd prefer a separate switch for that. Most times light isn't needed, and sometimes you want to light it up before you start screwing. - Would be nice if it came with a bag for it, the bits and the charging cord. - Like other reviewers, the slider positions for forward and reverse have thrown me off a few times. But all in all, this is great for the price.

This is the handiest little tool. I have had one for over ten years and it finally gave out, not sure if it was the charging base or the battery itself, probably the battery as you can only recharge so many times. Anyway, I had to have another one so ordered it and now I am set for probably at least another 10 years. Thank you SKIL!!
