After limited use, the driver itself appears to be pretty good. The BIT KIT however is difficult to use. The cover latch is hard to open. The bits in the red holder require a needle nose plyers to get out. You can't push them from the bottom, you MUST pull. Longevity? Yet to be determined.

Bought this tool to replace my 18 year old 3.6v iox2 skil screw driver. Should mention my old iox2 is still working. I have a new 18650 battery on order for it but i think it's time for a new one regardless. Not surprising the new has more speed and torque. I do miss the cradle charger/holder the old model uses as oposed to the direct usb cable for charging. It's great for small projects.

Its a bundle and any handy man can use extra bits as they strip after so long. Ive used this drill to secure things. The best part about it is that is low power and slow so if i make a mistake i dont ruin either the drill bit or the product im drilling into.

It's a really nice little screwdriver. I have to replace a bunch of outlets in our house and got this to speed things up. It's working perfectly. My one complaint keeping it from a 5 would be the microUSB port. Those are pretty terrible long term and I would prefer a more robust port for charging it. But, if you fill out the registration, it bumps it to a 5 year warranty, so if soemthing does happen, I could get a replacement.

2 stars becuase 1. Skil does not furnish a connector from the (USB) charging cord for a power outlet. Apparently one can be "purchased separately". Really? Sam's I expect better merchandise vetting from you. Of no use to me without a connection to power for charging. 2. Surface charge with which it came indicates it is probably fit for my intended purpose. (Otherwise I would have rated it at 1 star.)

I bought the original 4v with the wine opener that was fine until the switches gave out after a few wine openings & the warranty was over. The new model has more power and the change to the switch is much better. Also the wine opener from the original fits this one as well so am pleased and will have a glass for you.

I bought the predecessor model to this driver around ten years ago. It has given yeoman service, good battery life, good torque. The battery is finally giving up the ghost, so I bought two new ones. I like the directional switch better on the new ones.

Great, handy, read-to-go screwdriver that comes to the rescue when needing that automated power for common put-together furnishings and any mild-mannered DIY jobs. The micro-usb charger is really convenient and comes with a good set of bits for any job.

This skill pilot screwdriver is an awesome product. It has alot more power than one would think, and the battery last for quite a while. 36 lbs of torque is all one needs for around the house jobs. It will put a %238 3 inch screw through a 2x4 with no problem. I believe this is a great product

My old cordless screwdriver was 13+ years old. I chose this one for its brand recognition and the lighted tip. It does not disappoint. Very powerful motor turns much more quickly and the light helps in those hard to reach places! I will definitely buy again in the future.
