It is a fantastic little screwdriver. Also love that it came with different bits and a case.My only complaint is with the manual bits you enclosed in the kit. They only consists of a phillips and torque....no flathead! I called Skil and asked why a flathead was not included. They didn't know. Considering 90% of the time, a phillips or flathead is the screwdriver used the most, I was astounded there was no flathead. For future kits, just give one manual flathead., otherwise the manual element is missing for that part and what would you do then in an emergency if you ran out of battery and no plug available?

After using it a few times, I found I should have opted for a model with a rotation speed feature. Its quite " torquey " and care must be exercised. I chose this low cost model as when the batteries fail, your unable in most cases to replace them...as I've previously experienced...

I gave this 4 stars because it is underpowered for tougher tasks. But for putting furniture together it is perfect. The twist action is definitely worth it to use it in hard to reach areas. The bits that come with it are solid, and they stay in the magnetic bit holder perfectly. The light is a nice bonus. For tougher wood, you can predrill a hole using a drill and then use this screwdriver. I would buy this again.

I love this little tool. I just finished putting together a double bunk set with over 200 screws and bolts. This thing ran all morning long on one charge, screwing in 3-in screws that were only partially pre-drilled. Just grinds away and never fails. Super light, very comfortable, and all the spare bits are decent quality. This is my new favorite tool in a garage full of them.

This is such a handy screw driver. It is versatile with the different positions, pistol grip or straight. It has plenty of power for being so small, yet big enough to get a good grip on it. The magnet, that holds the bit, is strong and the magnetic storage for the extra bit is handy. The reason for the 4 star is it would be better if it had variable speed.

This appears to be a nice little screwdriver very similar to the one I replaced by it. The previous one worked well till the reversing switch failed. In fact the motor, charger, everything worked fine till the switch failed and it still does if anyone wants a 4volt motor etc.

2 stars becuase 1. Skil does not furnish a connector from the (USB) charging cord for a power outlet. Apparently one can be "purchased separately". Really? Sam's I expect better merchandise vetting from you. Of no use to me without a connection to power for charging. 2. Surface charge with which it came indicates it is probably fit for my intended purpose. (Otherwise I would have rated it at 1 star.)

Great driver with plenty of torque. I'm a little older and have trouble using and turning screw drivers. I saw this and had to have it. I loved the extra bits and size of driver. I have used it a lot since I bought it and still have not had to recharge it.

This Skil Rechargeable screwdriver is a winner. Long lasting and powerful due to a long life Lithium battery. The only improvement for this tool would be to get rid of the thumb switch which changes the direction of the screwdriver bit. The finger pressure switch should control the direction as well as the speed by making it rock top in to drive the screw and bottom in to back out the screw.

I purchased this Skil Drill/Driver expressly for drilling small holes in my hobby projects. Coupled with a Hymnorq Keyless Mini 3-Jaw Drill Chuck Screwdriver, I can drill holes accurately and much quicker than drilling by hand using a pin vice. Can’t comment on battery life just yet. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a small lightweight tool for drilling a lot of small holes.
