Purchased 4 defenders in 2014. All 4 have sever cracking on sidewalls 4 years later. Lots of tread left. Tires not over/under inflated, Harsh chemicals not used to clean or treat tire. Expected more from Michelin

I do rideshare and put 75K per year on a RAV4 with only minor alignment corrections. Tires ride quite, good braking wet or dry. Rotate tires every 12K, alignment chk every 30K and I get between 88-92K per set at 4/32 tread depth. Can't understand how people are getting anything less than 60K

These new Defender H+T tires are great! I put 12,500 miles on them and it doesn't even look like any tread is worn. These are definitely going to last way longer than the 1st generation Defenders. The noise level is minimal and the handling is reassuring at higher speeds. I do believe that these tires will fill my expectations!

Before I used MICHELIN® Defender 2016 which provided excellent and accurate braking performance, but the new model MICHELIN® Defender 2018 is horrible. After purchasing my new car with MICHELIN® Defender made 2018, I drove on the highway in winter about the speed of 70km, The slippy situation on tires happened Out of Control, and brought me extremely danger. With luck I turned the handling wheel and fully stop on the other lane and my car was in opposite direction with 2~3 meters toward the side of the guard bar of Hwy. It brought me very terrible experience, would be the Last time of installing MICHELIN® tire. Not recommended.

Put these on 2012 Mazda 3. Being a small and light weight car it always had wet surface grip problems. Michelins T+H prevented me from killing a person that randomly drove a bicycle across the street during a late night rain storm. I was able to stop really quick without sliding or even getting ABS engaged. All on wet pavement. Grateful for these tires. With my previous tires he or she would have been hit and thrown 10-15 feet forward

Bought my Michelin's approximately a year ago, have been down to Arizona & back, so they have been through various weather conditions (snow & heat) but no problems! Thankyou Integra Tireshop in Stony Plain for recommending them, you continue to make me a happy customer!

I purchased my first set of Michelin Defenders for a full size van and I have to say these were the very best tires I've ever bought. After 5 seasons of summer use, there was still a lot of thread left. In my opinion, there is no other tire out there that lasts as long as these. This is an excellent product and I will never buy another brand of tire but Michelin.

I've been running Cooper tires for 20 years. I decided to go to my local tire dealer and give Michelin a try. We purchased 4 Michelin Defender T+H tires for our 2011 Chevy Malibu. The road noise is totally unacceptable. When you get over 50 MPH it is nearly impossible to carry on a conversation with all the noise. I cannot speak to the performance in snow, as there's no way we can deal with this noise. They may be a great performing tire; however, the road noise is unacceptable. I think I'm going back to Cooper. We've had the tires for 3 months now and can't deal with this any longer.

While I've only had these tires for four days, I've had the opportunity to drive on them in a variety of environments - dry, wet, slush, snow, ice, highway and streets - and have been thoroughly impressed with all aspects of this tire. It's quiet, rides smooth, and handles the road well. Excellent wet traction and handled the snow admirably. Obviously I can't speak to the longevity of these tires yet, but given my previous experiences with Michelin tires I fully expect them to hold up well in the long run.

I replaced a set of Road Hugger tires with a set of 4 Defender T+H Michelins on my 2000 Celica yesterday because in only 15K miles, the RH's developed a very loud, resonating tread noise at highway speeds. I was very impressed with the quiet, smooth ride and precise handling I instantly saw from the Michelins. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment from my new tires! As a former test driver at Michelin's Laurens Proving Gounds, I'm sure they will live up to my expectations!
