- 5 out of 5 stars review9/15/2022I put the The Michelin CrossClimate2 on my 2020 Subaru Outback Limited and they actually changed the way the vehicle performed (in a positive way) the tires are quiet, hold the road very well, they are excellent in Snow but still make for a comfortable ride in the Summer
Excellent tires, great in Snow and Summer
BrianOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/18/2021I have had these tires about 15K miles, loved them through last winter, great this spring in the rain and a week ago, the amazing straight line, dry pavement stopping ability of these tires saved me from rear ending a pickup truck when traffic all stopped suddenly on the freeway--had an inch to spare, but am sure I would have been toast with any other tire!
Saved my bacon!
DongaOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareDonga, glad to hear you were able to stop the vehicle without incident. Thanks for sharing! - 5 out of 5 stars review3/28/2023Bought these last summer in preparation for this winter. It gave me a few months to also see how these performed as everyday tires. Overall, I am very pleased with these tires. On dry and wet pavement I have received good handling and traction. This morning, where I am (Fort Collins, CO), the city was surprised with a bit of a dump. The forecast was for a trace of snow, but I woke up to 5 inches. The city was caught off guard and had not prepared the streets by pre-applying mag chloride. So the morning commute was through 5 inch snow on the residential streets and tracks and a layer of ice on the main arterials. I had no problem negotiating any of it with these tires with the exception of starting from a standing stop where I got a little b...
Great Tire
liedtkeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/29/2024This was the first time we replaced the tires since we bought the vehicle. In the past, the car drove well enough, but with these new Michelin Crossclimate2s the car feels like it is floating down the freeway. It is just so smooth! Plus these tires grip the road really well whether the asphalt is dry or wet. We also get loads of compliments on how nice these tires look! (No one has ever complimented our tires before!) We are truly delighted with these phenomenal tires. They are the best we have ever had.
The best tires we have ever had
jathanandheatherOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review12/24/2024Bought the tires about 2 months ago. Hit all weather conditions since then. Tires are noisy... to the point I needed to regularly check my RPMs. Tires handle well on dry and very well on wet surfaces. They handle moderately well in snow. I found myself sliding a bit in slushy roads.
Good on wet and dry surfaces
RavenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/22/2022Great in traction in rain. Was constantly hydroplaning in previous performance tires. Now I Cruze right through everything. Great snow performance as well and I would even say have better traction than the snow tires I had on before. Also, reduced a lot of the road noise I had with performance tires. Traction in dry conditions is also great as well.
Great all seasonTire
KarenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/30/2024This is my second set. I first purchased these for my Subaru Outback, the were perfect for both rain and snow, not to mention dry weather conditions. I was so happy with these that when I purchased my 2023 Forester, I replaced the dealer’s tires with a new set of the Crossclimate2, they feel lighter and I will expect to get almost 60K mile on these as well.
Durable and long lasting
SaG74Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/6/2021I bought these tires for my MKX last January (2021) and was immediately satisfied with the way they drove through snow and slush along with how they handled ice. I just bought an Aviator with size 275/40R22 and you don't make them yet. Please have them ready for me next winter.
Look awesome and perform well
bill70Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/18/2021I bought these a few months ago based on good reviews. I have a 2011 Nissan Murano. Getting old and noisy. Wow these tires made me feel like I was in a much newer car. So quiet ! Even on previously noisy roads. Worth every penny. Hoping I don’t have to put my winters on this year !
Best tire ever so far
Jackie78Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/11/2021Bought a set of these CrossClimate2 for my Honda Accord V6 they were great, however someone else is going to enjoy them going forward . I traded the Honda in on a 2022 Subaru Outback Limited. Rest assured that when the Outback needs new tyres they will be Michelin CrossClimate2.
Great Tyres
SimonOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/16/2022Bought these tires to replace the original OEM tires. These tires were chosen after reading many on-line reviews of various 3 season tires. These tires have a very agressive tread. I jokingly refer to them as 'tractor tires'. However these are great in rain, especially down pours as the tread design sheds the water easily giving the tires excellent grip in the wet. They also give confidence on gravel or dirt roads, gripping the road surface without sliding. On dry pavement they run smooth and quiet creating a comfortable ride mitigating most imperfections in the road surfaces. They are also quite good in early autumn snow before the winter tires get installed. Very happy with these 3 season tires.

Arran52Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/7/2020Purchased a set for my wife's 2019 Pacifica (245/50R20) about a month ago. They have really impressed on the dry and wet. As we live in Northern Illinois we will soon get to see just how good they are in winter conditions. I have seen a lot on their capabilities in snow, just wondering about ice. So far we are loving this tire, much better than the OEM Falken's that came on the vehicle.
Best stopping tire I have owned
JohnNOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareSuper news, JohnN! Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. - 3 out of 5 stars review1/9/2023Just bought these tires and did a 4,000 mile road trip form midwest to Oregon coast. Tires rode and handled well in through the mountains and cold damp roads. This big problem is that my fuel mileage dropped around 20%. I used to get 23-26mpg on the highway depending on the winds. With these tires, the highest I got was 21mpg with a tailwind. Average on the trip was 18-20mpg. I want to like these tires, but can't with a 20% fuel mileage hit.
Nice tire, horrible fuel mileage

Note: I chose the Helium fill option if this makes any difference.
Darned Dependable Driving
JoBrynOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/12/2024I bought four CrossClimate2 replacement tires this year for my daughter’s 2015 Beetle. She’s a daily driver on the busy 401 Toronto highway to and from work. Their all weather capabilities and reliability were already proven over the past couple of years on my 2013 Volvo XC90. This vehicle is now on its third set of Michelin tires.
All weather capabilities and reliability!
Nora72Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/28/2024Finally, one tire that does it all. North Central Connecticut, two winters now haven’t had to worry about them. Haven’t had to buy two sets of tires. Slightly more noise, but nothing bothersome. These are on a 2015 Accord LX. These are basically set it and forget it tires. Wet, dry, snow, predictable everywhere.
Only tire you need
JPCTOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review8/12/2023Research, reviews and tests were mixed on the cross climate 2 but I bought them anyway. They are not the worst tires I have ever had but not anything like the Yokahama Parada Spec X I took off either. They are good in rain, haven’t driven in snow yet but they are rated high for snow but my issues with this tire is on dry tar. No changes to vehicle except new tires. The car wants to wonder now. It is difficult to keep it going straight at any speed. The car feels squishy on dry tar now. Doesn’t feel stable anymore. I don’t track my mileage but the car seems to drag now so I suspect the mileage decrease complaints are probably correct. The tires do make noise at times. Mainly on dry tar with the windows open and you are stepping on the gas. ...

We recently had 3 in of snow here and these tires were excellent never lost grip maintained perfect stability felt confident on the road. Honestly the best all season tires you can buy.
Best all season tires made!
LoveMtires79Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/10/2021I have traveled about 5000 miles on these new tires to date. My wife and I took a road trip and traveled extensively on 2 lane county and state roads. We experienced some heavy rains in Wyoming and the Dakotas. These tires eat standing water like it isn't there. They corner and brake very true on wet and dry pavement. I was pessimistic about the tread design but it does channel water away from the tires very efficiently. I haven't had a chance to drive on snow or ice but have no fear that they will perform equally well in those conditions. Also, they are much quieter than the Continentals Ford loves to put on cars. I am very glad I bought these and will again if they wear as advertised.
Great choice for wet roads
Average JoeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/19/2021Excellent grip (accelerating and braking) and ride in all conditions. First road trip MN->SD this past summer was a pleasure on both dry and wet roads. Recently had a 20” snowfall this winter and again was very pleased with all aspects of the tires.
Love the tires on my 2020 Honda Pilot
