Michelin Has done it again

Long time Michelin Tire Buyer, I've had the AT & Defenders on many model vehicles. Wife has 2016 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited. OEM came with Run flats which were noisy and hard. I changed to Defenders which is a great tire. With 63,000 miles we just installed Cross Cimate 2 size 235-55/18. Michelin knocked it out of the park with these tires. Feels like I'm driving a luxury 80k SUV now. Smooth, Quiet and tons of control. I can not believe how quiet and smooth they ride. We live in Florida but also spend a lot of time in the Mountains of NC. NO snow yet but Ill report once we do. Im pretty confident they will perform. Thank You Michelin.

Jack of all trades tire for Tesla. A- Overall Grade!

A+ performance in dry, wet, snow A- in ice, slush B for humming road noise between 25-45 mph B+ for road noise 45-90 mph B- for road noise above 90 mph C 13% drop in EV Range on my Tesla Y LR doing 24 mile loop in same day and same tire psi and inside/outside temperature vs my OEM Continentals.

Don’t disregard the reviews on poor MPG

I’ve been a Michelin tire fan, but have buyers remorse on this set. I was pointed to these tires as being excellent, they do great in the rain but otherwise I haven’t felt that they provide superior performance and they must have a great deal of rolling resistance because I’m experiencing a reduction of 3 mpg with my Q5. Very disappointing.

Ed in VA, thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We're sorry to read that you are unhappy with the mpg you are getting with the Cross Climate2. New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires.  As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases.  Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve. As a last resort, remember as part of the Michelin Promise Plan, our tires have a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Simply return to the selling retailer for the tires to be swapped out.

Worth the money.

Purchased these crossclimate 2's about six months ago. I have driven them in weather from +30 to -35 degrees Celsius. They have great traction in all weather, they have good road manners and they are quite. I will put these on our other vehicle soon.

I've been driving on Michelin tires since I purchased a 1963 Citroen ID19, whilst I was stationed with 4CIBG in the CDN Army in West Germany. In 1972, I purchased a Volvo 142 in Canada. It came with Goodyear tires which were GARBAGE after 21,000 MILES (not Kms). The replacement Michelins lasted for 63,000 MILES (not Kms) as did their replacement Michelins. In 1975, I bought a new 1957 Ford F150. It came with Firestone original equipment tires. MORE GARBAGE after 19,000 MILES!! In 61 years, I've never had a bad experience with Michelin tires and I'm a ripe 87-year-old fart!!

Great tires!

It took 1000 for these tires to wear in but now they are awesome, much better than the Michelin Defenders they replaced. These give a comfortable ride and extreme performance on wet roads. I can't wait until I get to drive on snow this winter. I highly recommend these tires.

Excellent pricy tyres

In my winter driving conditions I use spikes (country roads in the North of Finland) in my back wheel drive car. I have now my 2nd set of Cross Climate tyres in a row. They give me flexibility to change to spikes only after the real winter has come. Not any earlier. In the spring I have the flexibility to switch back early to Cross Climate thus reducing the use of spikes to minimum. I have found Cross Climate very pleasing: low noise level, reasonable wear, very neutral handling (205/60R16) in my E series MB. The tyres deserve 5/5, the pricing lowers the total to 4/5. Ps. My winter spike tyres are Michelin, too.

Safe, quiet, reliable, excellent handling and stopping

These tires continue exceed my expectations at 10k on my 2018 Lexus RX 350. They are the best ever in heavy rain for steering control. Have not tried them in snow. I had a flat on the rear and had no indicators till a passing motorist motioned me over. The tire tread design might be an acquired taste for some, but are worth the extra cost for the quiet ride ,safety and dependibility. I'll put them on my wife's Avalon.

The only tire I trust for my family

Review of the CrossClimate 2 tires. They have impressive versatility, performance, and reliability across multiple family vehicles. Below are my key takeaways: 1. All-Weather Performance: The CrossClimate 2 tires’ certification for hybrid and snow performance makes them a solid choice for year-round use, especially for those who would otherwise need to switch between seasonal tires. 2. Reliable Grip: These tires excel in providing firm traction, with no hydroplaning issues even in heavy rain, and they handle snowy conditions well—though for those in extremely snowy regions, dedicated snow tires might still be a better option. 3. Improved Ride Quality: Compared to OEM tires, the CrossClimate 2 provides a smoother and more controlled ride. They also offer aggressive cornering capabilities without sacrificing comfort, and they are not noisy at all. 4. Versatile Across Vehicles: They’ve performed reliably on a Lexus RX450h, Honda Passport Sport, and Mercury Milan, showing that these tires adapt well to our different vehicle types. 5. Fuel Efficiency Boost: Running the tires 3-5 psi above the manufacturer’s recommendation has improved my fuel economy, a helpful tip for hybrid drivers in particular. The CrossClimate 2 tires are a premium, dependable tire that inspires safety and confidence for year-round use while providing peace of mind for the safety-conscious drivers. The only tire I trust for my family.

Look awesome and perform well

I bought these tires for my MKX last January (2021) and was immediately satisfied with the way they drove through snow and slush along with how they handled ice. I just bought an Aviator with size 275/40R22 and you don't make them yet. Please have them ready for me next winter.
